Best multi function scale on the market
to preface this - I've ordered multiple things on amazon over the last few years, based on customer feedback. I have found that customer feedback has been EXTREMELY accurate time and time again, and it is my duty to finally review this and other items for others.I was searching for1) Complete accuracy in weight in multiple standards (lb and kg) - this one achieves that and does one better working in stones. Accurate 100% of the time. Multiple repeats lead to identical number to 99.9%.2) Ability to measure body fat percentage, accounting for the water weight in the muscles, and the muscle mass percentage. Again, MUCH better than I had expected. - this machine has 10 settings for different people, and remembers them for over a year now (great battery efficiency), so I don't have to input my age/weight every time. - It measures the BODY FAT PERCENTAGE, accounting for weather you are an athlete or a not - as these two will make your numbers very different. OMG - I COULD NOT BE HAPPIER - it is AS accurate than any other OFFICIAL test, and always gives me the same results. This machine also (as implied), will give your body fat percentage if you are a non-athlete correctly as well. - IN ADDITION - provides Muscle mass percentage, and WATER WEIGHT!!!!. These are so crucial for myself, as I workout every 2 days, and it lets me know my physical condition from all aspects.3) Price! - I am shocked that a machine this cheap does all of the things the professional ones do for much much more money. It feels like having a qualified doctor measure these things for you, at your own house.I have had it for over a year, and use it almost daily. Amazing product. I have not changed the battery yet. It turns on by simply moving it a bit with your foot, so no need to bend down. The screen is easy to see, and the buttons are wide and far apart, so that you could use your feet. Finally, instructions are very intuitive, and I only had to spend a few minutes reading the manual, and now know how to perform all of the multiple functions by heart. Also, as I've said, it remembers everything! So once set up, there is nothing you need to do, but let it work it's magic.I have spent days researching this, as I am an athlete and workout all the time. This is the BEST machine for under $500 easy.

4.5 Stars- Overall an excellant purchase for the price!
Love my new scale! Although I really wanted a glass scale, I settled for this one because of the price. I am happy with my purchase. The stainless steel finish is a nice addition. I love that if you just need a quick reading, you can tap on the scale and it will turn on. It's nice to have both "tap" and an actual "On/off" button. I only use the on/off button when I want to save the weight to my profile and want a detailed info. To break my review down, I'll separate it by pro's and con's:PROS:* Quick to use and install.* Surprisingly stylish.* Good value- more features than many other expensive scales.* Everything you need to know- the scale displays it all!* Just tap to turn it on.* Separate On/Off button if you want to save your weight to your profile (upto 12 profiles!).CONS:* The abbreviations take some getting used to. I can't seem to remember whether "B" is for body fat or bone mass so I refer back to the manual.* Sometimes the scale gives a different reading depending on which surface I put it on: I can't keep it in my bathroom because I have a tile floor and it gives a more accurate reading on the flat wooden floor.* My weight was 2 Ibs lower than what my doctor calculated but I'm thinking it was just that one day. The scale itself always gives precise/consistent readings.* The reading go by really fast- I wish the readings were slower and the scale took a little longer to shut off.

Been using it for four years without even needing a battery change, accurate measurements.
I have been using this scale daily to track my weight and body fat percentage for four years, and it's been consistently accurate against other scales, and the body fat percentage for me at least miraculously is quite close to that measured with calipers (13.2% versus 13.6%). It takes a bit of time to calibrate on startup, and it takes a few seconds to stabilize the weight and electrical measurements, but as someone who builds scientific equipment for a living this doesn't surprise or bother me.It would be nice if it had memory to store previous values so you could chart things out; I know that some people have the tendency to freak out when their statistics vary a lot from day to day -- but this is normal. You have varying amounts of food and water in your system, so having a larger set of data in memory that it's able to show you the actual long term trends from would be great. At my size (183#, 6'6") a variation of up to 2 pounds from day to day is totally normal, and that's a lot of noise for a human to try to filter out.

Pretty cool
This scale was a little disappointing because it is a little hard to use. Apparently I am very dehydrated because the scale cannot tell me anything but how much I weigh. Granted that is the main purpose of a bathroom scale but I was looking forward to the Body Fat-Body Water scale part too. However, if you are less than 46% water, the scale can't give you a reading on your body water, & without the body water, no body fat reading either. Other than that, the scale is awesome. Very accurate and customer service was quick to tell me why I kept seeing 'Error 5' (which was my dehydration problem). If you don't drink a lot of water, (at least 4 glasses a day) I would not bother trying to get the body water reading scale, because it won't be able to read you. If, however, you intend to increase your water intake to a healthier level (after all, who want to be dehydrated?) then this is definetly worth the money. A great buy mostly because I didn't even know I was dehydrated.
