Great solid pots
Works great, solid quality, feels good and substantial with smooth turning - not loose at all, but also not too stiff. Replacing the pots in my Korean-made Schecter, I noticed that the knurls on this knob work perfectly for the metric knobs that came with it, but on the other hand, the shaft diameter was the US size (the existing metric hole was too small), so I had to ream out an extra 1/32 of an inch for it to fit - strange combo of specs! But I wired it up for an out-of-phase switch and it works perfectly.

I find these pots to be clean, reliable, well constructed & most versatile with their DPDT switch
I use these in all of my guitars as a tone pot while spliting coils on humbuckers. Sometimes I use them for volume pots that double as a way to selectively activate a treble bleed, phase shift or other function. There are a lot of tricks you can do with the added functionality of the DPDT switch sitting beneath the pot! They are clean and quiet, very versatile and the taper is perfect for volume swells. They have a very solid, high quality feel and I have installed them in over a dozen of my guitars. I recommend them to my guitar playing friends and colleagues when it comes up inconversation.

Great light feel
I tried CTS because they look robust, but they have a heavy action and failed within a year. I've never had a Pot fail in my life. Went back to Bourns for the win.. They have a super light action that you can roll with just your pinky.. They are easier to wire up also..

Rock-Solid Pots for Reliable Guitar Wiring
Iโve used some other brand push-pull pots in the past and have experienced durability issues at time. These Bourns 500K pots are a completely different story. They are absolutely rock solid and built to last. Beyond their durability, the performance is top-notch. They have a very smooth, musical taper and the push-pull action has the perfect feel, not too stiff to engage, but not so loose that it feels cheap. For any guitar wiring project, these are my new go-to.

Good news and not so good..
Yes they are Bourns just like comes in a $1000.00 made in Mexico Charvel and probably Fender and EVH. The Sad news.. they only come with one nut and washer. Oooops. That will cause you to scrounge up additional hardware to properly install them at a correct height and tighten them so they don't work loose. TskTsk! I checked them with a meter and one was 455k and the other was 505k. Around a 10% tolerance value which is not super high quality but seems to be average with most brands. You may never know the difference unless you have certain expectations for what ever reason. If you expect lower tolerance you will pay about twice the price.

Great feel, high quality, fits 2008 Gibson SG
Just gotta clip off the grounding tab at the bottom of the switch box and it fits. Los turning resistance, solid switch click, course spline (18 tooth)

May work may not
I purchased a 2 pack of these the first one worked great but I didn't use the second one for around 70 days later and I paid to have it put on and when I got the guitar home and used it 3 times I noticed the knob fell on the floor so the shaft fell back onto the pot it works on the humbucker and you have to use a screw driver to turn the pot now and it's been to long to get a refund and now I have to pay again to have it reinstalled. So needless to say I'm pissed
