Yes, it does have a filter. Be sure to get multi minerals to take because this removes everything in the water and I mean everything.

How often is filter changed?

The frequency of filter changes are based on volume of use. We have three different filter systems and each requires changing at different rates. Our high volume is roughly 3 to 4 weeks based on our well water purification requirements. The more substance in the water the faster the filter will require changing.

How long would 1 filter last in Los Angeles

We have a 12 cup Zero Water pitcher and use it for everything we eat and drink. We change the filter approximately every two months. It's a very good deal

can you put the container and filter in the refrigerator?

Yes, just re-fill from the tap as needed and put the whole thing in the fridge. That's what I do with it and what it's designed for. I don't always place it in the "fridge door" as it's labelled, although that works too. It has a relatively small capacity, which makes it convenient for the fridge but does mean I re-fill it often. But it's worth it . . . great to have cold ZeroWater at-the-ready. [:-)

Ottima soluzione per migliorare la qualità dell'acqua domestica e ridurre il consumo di plastica. L'acqua filtrata ha un sapore più gradevole e risulta più dolce, test fatto con cartine tornasole per la durezza dell'acqua. Il filtro, sebbene non economico e con una durata di circa un mese per acqua mediamente dura, è efficace nel ridurre impurità e metalli pesanti, come evidenziato da tanti test di laboratorio disponibili su YouTube. La caraffa include un comodo misuratore elettronico per verificare la durezza dell'acqua. Nonostante la caraffa non sia molto maneggevole, il dispenser a molla per l'acqua è pratico. La consiglio per chi ha un'acqua mediamente dura, per renderla più buona e avere un'alternativa sostenibile all'acqua in bottiglia, pur considerando il costo dei filtri.
