Sound quality very poor, how can i make it sound clearer, rather not have to send it back?

I think you have to accept you've been stung. The sound quality of mine IS INDEED appalling, and the battery consumption is also dreadful. I had the IMPRESSION there are multiple manufacturers making these gizmos, and there MAY BE versions of better quality - but you'd need to buy from a shop with a showroom and demo service rather than buying blind using home delivery. For the version I bought, I found the advertising was grossly misleading as reagrds sound quality. I think it's a LOVELY IDEA but it needs to be made by Apple or Samsung or LG or such. Thinking about it, just having an APP on cellphones which talks-back at hight speed would be quite good - don't REALLY NEED the furry rodent.......

Well The base is solid so it just jiggles when it repeats what you have said in a loud , high pitched voice
