Got this small garbage can for our countertop and that could use grocery plastic bags. It does all that, looks good and is the perfect size. Little did we know how much fun we would have with the automatic opening and closing lid. Yes it's practical but we are constantly finding ourselves just waving at the trash can so it does it's thing even when we don't have any trash. Love when someone in the kitchen is close enough to activate and watch their response. Easily amused. Love it.

I bought this in 2 sizes. I like the color and the width to fit next to a toilet. The small one was too small for a bathroom, but I kept it and I’m using it to store plastic bags in when cleaning out my liter box. Live the no touch open and close.

As many people said before, the ring that is supposed to hold the bag is ridiculous . It makes no sense and doesn't hold the bag. I am getting around that by pulling a bit of the bag out the back side of the container to hold it from falling into the can. However, I love this trash bin! The auto opener works great for me. The size is prefect and it looks sleek. I am using it in the kitchen. I have a small kitchen and not much space for a trash can. I wanted a little can on the counter to put the usual kitchen garbage in. It had to have a lid and look nice. I like the shape, slim but not too small. It is decorative enough that it doesn't fee so obviously like agarbage bin. You need to buy two AA batteries.
