The package arrived to Chile from Japan in less than a week (5 days), which is surprising as I was expecting it to arrive in two weeks. The fountain pen is stunning and it is very comfortable to write and use. In comparison to my other steel nibbed pens, the 18k gold nib on this pen is noticeably soft. I bought this pen for my birthday in June of this year (approximately 5 months ago) and it has held up nicely with daily use. I would certainly recommend buying from this site, specially japanese fountain pens!

The product arrived in excellent condition. The nib split is excellent, there’s no gap between the top and bottom, and the ink flow is great. This is my first time buying a Sailor Pro Gear Slim, and I’ve noticed that the Pro Gear Slim is quite short when the cap is removed. It fits my hand just barely, so I can use it without the cap, but people with larger hands will probably need to use it with the cap on. (It should be a good fit for women.)

まず1万円以内で実質プロギアスリムを買えたのは素直に嬉しいです。今は値上がりがすごいですからね。 見た目よしで、書き味もいつも通りのセーラーらしいもので満足です。 いつも通りのセーラーと言っても、使ったことがない人にはわからないですね。パイロットの万年筆での筆記がブレーキなしの自転車で下り坂を走る感覚であれば、ブレーキが常に効いたまま走る感じなのがセーラーです。ペン先のコントロールが上手な人ならパイロットの方がいいと思いますが、自分は下手なのでセーラーのザリザリとした筆記感の方が好きです。 サイズ感について小さすぎる、短すぎるというコメントを見かけたので追記します。キャップポストしたときのサイズは、スーベレーン400と同程度です。すでにスーベレーン400を持っていて、漢字を書きやすいペン先を希望される方には合うと思います。スーベレーン400では短い、あるいは600を使っている人なら、プロギアまたはプロフィット21の方がサイズ的に合うと思います。

空、を買いました、他のセーラー万年筆プロフィットと比べると小さく、細め、然し綺麗な色です書き味は中細ですので、サラサラで私の好み、ううん、、よい買い物しました、セーラー万年筆さすがですね、この金額でこの製品CPはとても良いです！

初めて万年筆を持ったのが中学校入学の時（昭和時代）。制服の左胸ポケットに誇らしい気持ちで差して。それから数十年、とんと万年筆で筆記することがなくなってしまった時期を経て、近頃懐かしい気持ちで万年筆を手にしたいと思うように。 そんなに高価な物はいらない、でも安価すぎるおもちゃペンのような万年筆も物足りない。初めて手にした万年筆がセーラーだったから、そのメーカーで昔のようにペン先は金がいいな、とか。etc┅。 色々検索して、この商品に決めました。 （実はこの商品の購入前に、ペン先がはね上がった（55度）細字も太字も書けると言う万年筆を買ったのですが、やっぱり初めて手にした中学生の時の感触（書き味）とは別物。トキメキがない。利便性は有り。） この万年筆、他で買うとお値段も倍近く高いので、お買い得と思い購入。そして書き味もサラサラ。 なんか懐かしい。 高価すぎず、おもちゃ感すぎず、程よくお手頃で、ペン先は金で。 文字をしたためるのが愉しい。 買って良かった。

so beautiful pen

中学生の娘が万年筆が欲しいというのでプレゼントで購入しました。短めの万年筆で、男性にはかなり小さく感じると思います。女性用かなと。書き味も良いようで、線は太すぎず細すぎずといったところです。娘はとても喜んでいました。大事にするそうです。

書き心地からビジュアルまで、全てにおいて完璧。 セーラーの万年筆を使うときのインクは必ずセピアと決めている。 何故ならロマンを感じるから。 派手すぎない色味、嫌味すぎないゴールドの要素、私が求めていた万年筆はここにある。 いつか来るその時まで使い続け、子供へ、そして孫へ、そのように代々受け継いで行きいつかは古の文房具として美術館に飾ってほしいとさえ、私は夢と希望を抱いている。 要は素晴らしいってこと！ 安い万年筆しか使ったことなかったんだよ

I had high hopes for the Sailor medium-fine nib. However, I returned the pen due to the following reasons: 1. The box was unsealed and was in a state where it was evident that it was opened. 2. There was no ink converter inside the box. Whereas William Penn is selling Sailors with ink converters. 3. The feedback from the medium-fine nib was great. Even on smooth paper it was making a great deal of noise.

Despite having smaller hands, I prefer larger pens so was reluctant to get this at first. Love my Sailor Pro Gear (medium nib) and decided to give this Pro Gear Slim a try, since this particular model was a good price on Amazon. Turns out it’s a solid performer. The fine-medium nib is the tiniest bit scratchy, but it’s still mostly smooth and it’s fun having a thin line to write with sometimes. It’s comparable to a Pilot Metropolitan fine nib in line size. Posted and unposted, the pen fits comfortably in my hand (again, I have smallish hands). The ink flow is exactly medium (not wet but not dry), and the writing experience feels precise because of the harder nib. It’s quite similar to the feel of the Platinum 3776 (albeit smaller), but the color options really give the Sailors an edge in my book. Color is better than expected. The cap is slightly darker than the barrel, which has a pearly vibe to it, and I thought I’d hate that mismatched look. But I don’t hate it… and it fact, these shades of blue cheer me up whenever I see the pen. Feels like a fun change of pace. This isn’t my daily driver, but I’m pleasantly surprised by this pen. If you’re down for a smaller pen, sort of like the Pilot Prera or Pelikan m200, this is not a bad option. The real premium here is the color, IMO, so pick a color you love. Maybe it’s this one.

Came out the box perfectly. I love the look of the pen and how the flecks have a shine to it. ( I bought the Yukitsubaki ). Sailor's aesthetic design is wonderful. I love looking at this pen. The nib design is also wonderful but I do wish there was a two tone nib, I would've snatched that one very easily. One of my few pens to come out the box to write with no hitches, no misaligned tines. The feedback is very very satisfying. Much like an HB pencil? The only nib size for this pen is the "MF", medium fine, but it's the sweet spot, fine enough to write kanji with a lot of strokes while thick enough to be really smooth. The size was off putting at first. I would've looked toward the normal size or the large size of Sailor's pens. I have small hands but I like writing with bigger pens. But this color only came in slim. But after using it for a month, I've gotten used to it's size and it's not that bad. It's even small enough that I prefer to take it with me when I leave my house. I've compared it to my Sailor Pocket pen from the 60s, and it's roughly the same size in length, though the vintage pocket pen is much lighter and skinner. I can use it both posted and unposted but I still prefer posting it. The weight for me is a good balance between not feeling the pen at all and an earth shattering pen if you drop it...(the Lamy 2000 stainless steel). I really love it. Unposted the weight is more on the nib, posted the weight shifts back but not enough to make it feel like the pen will fall backwards if you'd let it go from the grip. Onto the bad part. There's only one really bad thing about this pen. It's the fact that it uses Sailor converters. Yep, a Sailor pen using Sailor converters is a minus for me. On Amazon they're wayyy too overpriced and they just don't feel as good as a Platinum converter which costs nearly half as much. I end up just filling the included cartridges with my own bottled ink using blunt syringes. They also hold lots of more ink than the converter. But since I don't even use the converter, this minus doesn't affect me that much. But I would definitely recommend this pen to someone looking for their first or second gold nib pen.
