A little connector problem.
I give it 5 stars because I only spent $26.00. Works fine but the one out of 2 connectors (door closed indicator small wires one) did not slip in all the way, the insulation on the car side of the connector comes in 2 parts a harder plastic on the outside and a softer on the inside ,just remove the outside with a small flathead screwdriver and it will still seal slip on and work fine. It cost $122.00 for a Dorman. Thank you.

So far, this part is working as required. No issues, easy to install. You will need a special tool, T-27 star bit. Why did you pick this product vs others?: It was the correct fit for my car and very good price..

Perfect replacement
Have a 2011 Ford Escape that the back latch quit working. Ordered this part and it arrived quickly. Super easy to install, took maybe 15 minutes with a couple tools. Has continued to work as a charm.

Exactly the right part and at a great price
My great nephew's back hatch wouldn't open since he bought it. He couldn't even carry his wheel chair with him. It had to be carried on top of the car. i purchased this lock for him since a few years ago i had to replace the hatch lock on my car . It has worked flawlessly for several years now so I think it will be ok for my nephew's car. Easy to install too. Well worth the money
