It does what it has to, and for the price it does it well. I had several spools of PETG and PLA that ware oozing when printing and this guy helped me print without stringing again. It is loud ... and I mean LOUD. The fans of that thing can be heard from the upper floor. Kill me if I know why they have not used a silent PC fan that nowdays costs next to nothing. The air vents are way too small for all the humidity to escape trough them. But opening the top 2-3 times does the trick.

I have a few filaments that were breading and won’t keep the final print composed and it peels into strings. I used this to air dry for 24 hours and the print after using this seem to be a bit better. I tried this on silk pla. I am not sure if using heated filament was a factor or actually it dehydrated the filament. I used the filament directly coming out of this dehydrated chamber.

I do occasionally have an error when it gets to hot and starts beeping. It turns itself off and doesn’t get hot enough to damage the filament, even when the error occurs with PLA in the dryer.
