Normally you hear rust remover and think of a liquid spray right?Well a gel is actually what this spray sprits and altough different you immediately love this little product.Where ever you have rust you spray this and let it sit a while around 10 mins or more depending on how much rust you have then whenever the gel is done doing it's little job you wipe it off and BAM rust gone!I will note if you have a heavy amount of rust try and clean off a bit as you can for better results.Other than that would definitely recommend!

The product works great and is easy to use to touch up rust on weights or other metal fixtures around the house. It is a bit smelly and you'll want to wear gloves for sure. Wet, spray on the rust remover, wire brush, let sit 15 minutes and rinse and dry. Two treatments will remove heavy rust.

This stuff is insane, I left rusted and crusty hood springs in it for 15 minutes and when I come back they were like new when I rinse them. That being said it is a chemical substance so make sure you have good airflow and ideally a mask and gloves to be safe. Currently using to help restore a 66 Buick Riviera and I highly recommend for anything dealing with rust

HUGE UPDATE! By all means DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS PRODUCT. After all the trouble I put myself through in making the various purchases and purly pissing away a good chunk of change buying it, EVERY BOTTLE has taken some sort of nose dive and actually had a reaction that's made it gel up, turning white and in my determination of wanting to get some form of rust removal done after my investment because one bottle out of all bought and paid for it wound up ruining several parts and nuts and bolts for 2 trucks I'm working on . This crap was well stored for a very short time being kept in living conditions due to having a cousin and a brother that tend to help themselves to tools and products I spend my money on . There's YouTube videos on other ways to use automotive batteries to dip clean rust and I intend to try that with the lose parts and am going to be very particular in the future of products for aiding in frame clean up, but it won't be anymore of this sludge in spray bottles. My first purchase consisted of 2 bottles. My second purchase consisted of one bottle only because one could be shipped overnight and two couldn't! My third order was for a 6 pack again due to shipping availability and the fact I have eleven 9th gen Ford trucks to eventually use the stuff on. The first bottle of two blew my mind in the transformation it made, maybe in part of the fact the frame was very deeply pitted and I did actually accidentally allow it to pretty much dry out before rinsing it off . The job in the end looks incredible after applying the POR 15 Black coat over what was once a hopeless looking frame under a very straight almost slick 130k F150 (1995) . So I got real excited to do the same thing to my 1994 short W.B. 4X4, and am currently going at it with a vengeance in over 100 degree temperatures and getting very different results as far as what the eye can see . On both trucks I have to give kudos to the product for making extremely pitted looking steel a nicer smooth appearance with the first frame having a mostly clean newer metal colored finish mixed with black patches of the original coating that Ford used . This second truck the product is taking several rounds to rid that deep pit of rust appearance but is eventually giving me that smooth look I'm after by using a scraper and a small firm wire brush (also purchased from Amazon, if I haven't already I will be giving feedback on it as well to make it easy for you fellas or fellets to get yourself one like it, if you like). I'm experiencing a total different outcome with the surface of this truck frame holding a coat of what I consider flash rust which I will be using a different brand of rust converter aka type of Rust Mort and will simply cover the light coat of rust with the other brand i chose to try, (see my feedbacks if interested as i like to test different products as i go. I have found a few brands of Mort that I find to be the hardest coat of anything I have ever applied to a metal surface and they all do basically the same thing I've found out in all my years as a hobbiest paint and body person . I hope people will find my long written at times feedbacks helpful to save them money and labor. For me there's nothing worse than finding nothing said, except for the really intelligent feedbacks that basically say, (duh, it worked for my application duh huh) I try probably to hard to help others know details and facts and try to help Amazon promote things worthy of being promoted . Had this product had the same reaction in all applications I would have given it a solid 5 star, but it doesn't!
