This is expensive, but worth it. I tried cheaper alternatives but they were irritants to my throat and nose when I used them in my diffuser. This has an amazing smell and is high quality and non-irritating.

A true santal scent which is a powdery floral. There are no smoky notes at all. A little goes a long way. I used five drops in a diffuser for a living room and I bought the smallest bottle which will last me a while. This is my first time smelling and bought based on the reviews. My bottle of santal arrived today and I’ve started diffusing it. My initial reaction is pleasant surprise. It actually smells like the le labo scent, which I love. Honestly I can’t tell the difference. I’m excited because I feel like I’ve finally found a scent that I can use year round for the main level and I’m not restricted to tiny capsules or unreliable systems. I’ve used several before like Pura and aera, but never got a satisfactory result. I looked into purchasing an aromatech diffuser and realized from reviews that they’re probably not worth the money. I bought a cheap 60 dollar programmable one and it’s amazing. I have it running all day on the weekends and morning/evening on the weekdays. Go ahead and buy the big bottle of Santal. You’re gonna love it.

I enjoying having candles and plug ins in the house but it was getting rather expensive. I decided to buy a diffuser since I already had oils. I’m glad I did. I bought this oil which is very pricey, but it’s worth it! First of all you just need two or three drops not 5 to 10 like most other oils for it to smell. Secondly, I loved the smell! Thirdly, my husband loved the smell too. He’s the kind of person that can’t stand a lot of aromatic smells like walking in to bath and body works. Fourthly, I bought car diffusers too, which help me reduce the cost of buying more products that are overpriced and aren’t even as good as this oil. This oil makes your house smell like a high-end hotel or spa. If I were you, I would just buy the bigger bottle.

Very light scent

Whew! This product is amazing. There's honestly nothing like it in the home fragrance category, it will truly bring your space to the next level... BUT to get the AMAZING, CLEAN, LUXURY smell- please see my recommendations below. 1) CLEAN your Diffuser - I mean CLEAN IT! I was a complete dunce and diffused this without thoroughly cleaning my diffuser. I have previously diffused oil bends back to back by just simply rinsing the water compartments, or just layering similar blends back-to-back and they turned out just fine. This scent is so delicately blended, any little residual scent will completely throw this off to the point where it is nausea inducing or alter the scent profile. Before using this oil make sure you THOROUGHLY clean your diffuser with part alcohol and water. I made the mistake of just rinsing my diffuser out after diffusing a beachy sandalwood scent, and it completely threw this one off to the point I gagged and initiated an amazon return. I realized my mistake, cleaned it out with part rubbing alcohol and part water and WOW! It blew me away. 2) RATIOS matter! I don't see how folks are getting the "cologne smell" unless they are just dumping this into their diffusers by the tablespoon. Sandalwood is meant to be light and experienced in "whiffs," not permeating the air like a canned air freshener. Yes, the smell is strong and heavy in the bottle but you are meant to use so little of it in the diffuser, you should not be getting the "bottle" scent once you begin diffusing. For a light clean smell I recommend about 1 baby drop per 20ml, not drop as in the entire pipette. CONS- My only gripe is the price. However- this beats out all home fragrances I have tried. I have purchased a few more scents in the smaller bottles. Once I decide which one I want as my "daily driver" I will buy the 16oz which comes in under $4/bottle.

It smells amazing but in my air purifier you can’t smell it so much. My favorite part of this oil is it’s animal friendly. You need to be careful with your oils around animals.

This is a great fragrance, but it doesn’t last long

I took a bit of a gamble with this oil as I wanted to use it in my oil burner (i.e tea light candle on bottom and place for a little bit of water above the candle where you add drops of oil). I had posted a question asking other buyers if this could be done and had gotten answers primarily about using a diffuser which is not the same thing. I got one response back saying yes and can also be used as a room spray. So I took a chance. Boy oh boy, I'm so glad I did. I can further confirm this oil can most certainly be used in an oil burn. Apart from this discovery, this oil has such a wonderful unisex smell. It's like walking into a high-end hotel. Wow wow wow! Just buy it.

Such a pleasant, clean zen like scent!

This essential oil is amazing! My house smells like a spa when I use it and just like santal 33 from Le Labo! A little goes a long way so I feel the price point is fair for the concentration and quality of the oil. I will definitely repurchase when I run out!

Lovely scent

I rarely do reviews but this is a must! Warning if you start buying this you will be addicted and unable to buy anything else! This is an expensive addiction haha! I have a wellness center and Ive been trying to find my staple smell for the place! Well this is IT! Ive never had so many compliments on a smell. Everyone who walks in is immediately in love with the scent of our place! I dont know what I will do if this doesn’t exist one day! I cant explain the smell its pure magic! Now I use a regular water diffuser and works great! Smells all day
