Should work fine. My husband who is 230lbs and 5'9" said it was good

How do you recommend washing and drying the sleeping bags?

Just put it in your washing machine on gentle cycle, warm or cold water. Put it in the dryer on air setting or if you want, 15 minutes with heat and then spread out flat to finish drying.

Should i wash it before use?

I did not wash mine because I did not smell any type of chemical odor when I opened the bag. I used it the first night it arrived and I did not detect any smell. I use the bag indoors as I have one bedroom that is difficult to heat.

Does it zip from the inside?

It zips and unzips from both inside and outside.
