I’ve been using the Double Repair Matte Moisturizer with SPF 30 as my daily moisturizer, and it’s been a great fit for my acne-prone skin, especially during the summer months and while traveling. What I really like is that it gives me broad-spectrum sun protection without feeling greasy or heavy. The matte finish is a big plus, especially if you tend to get oily throughout the day — it keeps my skin looking fresh, not shiny. It also doesn’t clog my pores or cause breakouts, which has been a big issue for me with other SPF products in the past. It layers well under makeup too, without pilling or leaving a white cast. For nighttime, I switch to a more hydrating, non-SPF moisturizer from the same brand, but this one is my go-to during the day. If you’re looking for a lightweight, acne-friendly SPF moisturizer with a matte finish, I definitely recommend trying this one out.

I have very oily skin and trying to find a moisturizer to combat that without over drying is next to impossible for me until I tried La Roche-Posay line. It’s light weight, controls the oil all day and pairs well under makeup.

This moisturizing sunscreen is awesome! It's completely matte and non greasy as advertised. It hasn't irritated my skin. Nor has it irritated my eyes, and I use it right under my eyes and on the corners of my eyes where the crows feet are. It has no scent and there is absolutely no white cast. If you have oily skin like me, this is the right product for you. I totally recommend it. You won't be sorry you bought it, I promise.

Both the SPF and original versions are comfortable, lightweight, easy to apply without a ton of rubbing, and not sticky or greasy. The original has a lovely matte finish that looks undetectable on the skin, but the SPF has quite a bit of shine. I like that the tubes are large and both are good moisturizers for oily skin, but I would only really recommend the SPF-free version of you want a matte finish.

I love how lightweight this moisturizer is. It keeps my face matte all day without drying it out. It absorbs quickly and doesn't feel heavy or sticky at all.

This product is easy to use, however the subtle matte effect lasts only for a very short time, then my face becomes very shiny. Even though I never get it close to my eyes, these get very irritated, also I’m noticing some red and se sensitive patches around my face. I don’t think I will be getting it a second time. I had high hopes for this moisturizer.

This works great. Moisturizes and stops the shine. It’s the only product I’ve found that works to really control oil.

I tried this moisturizer when the other matte one I was using was a little too drying, or so I thought. I have combination skin, so the t zone on my face tends to get very oily, and I get some light peeling on the top of my nose. After using this product for a while I started noticing some peeling/scaling areas around my nose. It almost felt like scabbing. Some slight redness also developed in the small areas on the skin around my nose. I also never felt that this moisturizer had a matte finish at all. After applying, it still felt slightly greasy. This was the only product that I changed recently, so I decided to go back to my other moisturizer and see if I noticed any difference. It's been a little over a week so far, and I can already tell a difference. The skin seems to be healing, and the scaling is getting better. I do have very fair, sensitive skin, so maybe this was just not the product for me.
