Health Logics BioCell Collagen Joint and Skin Care 120 Capsules

I'm in my mid 40s and run about 30 miles/week. I've noticed lots of back & hip pain the morning after running. I cut out the inflammatory food, and saw a chiro and it got marginally better, but I still had tons of knee & hip stiffness the morning after a 10-12 mile run. I also got achy hips after a long car or plane trip. I took OsteoBiFlex and saw little improvement. I read about BioCell Collagen in one of my mom's health food magazines and decided to try it. It works really well. I've been taking it for over a year. I take 2 capsules after a long run, and drink plenty of water. The next morning I wake up with NO pain or stiffness. It's really a great product. I have also seen longer fingernails and some improvement in my skin, although I did not initially take it for that. On the skin side, I don't see dramatic reduction of wrinkles or spots, as others have reported. If you're an aging athlete with minor arthritis and are looking to minimize pain/stiffness, I would definitely recommend this. I buy it religiously and Amazon has the best price.

This product really, absolutely, truly works! I am so excited to have found it; it has already changed my life. I have tried all types of collagen, fairhfully followed directions, given them time to work and nothing ever came close to this. There's been such a difference in my joints that my doctor is looking into it so he can recommend it. Hallelujah! I am adding this at a later date: all of a sudden this past month, my hands started to hurt and hurt so badly the pain would wake me up at night. My father had painful arthritis in his hands, so I thought it was just my time. But the sudden onset of severe pain was curious; it did not appear gradually. I finally realized I had not taken the BioCell for a month because where I live is so hot that deliveries come practically steaming. I thought the heat could harm a supplement so I was waiting for fall to reorder. Well, once I put this together, I ordered asap and within two days I noticed a difference of less pain but after three days the pain was gone, even through the night. I feel so lucky to know about this; the doctor wanted to put me on arthritis medicine with side effects. The only side effect with this supplement is that my skin is vastly improved! In fact, I often get compliments on my skin! That's great but the loss of that severe pain is a glorious gift! It was taking care of the pain all along but I didn't know it because I had never interrupted the daily dosages. What a great thing to know, right?!!

I haven't been using this product for long so I can't give too comprehensive of a review. However, I have been taking collagen in a powdered form for several months and have seen a lot of improvement in my joint pain. The powder took a long time to dissolve in water and I couldn't eat for several hours after taking it so I was looking for a better alternative. I came across this Health Logics collagen in pill form while searching Amazon and decided to give it a try. It is so much easier to take and provides the same benefits of reducing my joint pain as the powdered collagen. I also like that these pills contain hyaluronic acid, as I had to purchase this supplement separately when I took the other collagen so this is also a real money saver. I did take off one star because of the amount of pills that need to be taken to achieve the same results as one scoop of powdered collagen and one hyaluronic acid pill per day. I thought taking two of these in the morning and two at night was overkill so I reduced my intake to two per day. My joint pain increased almost immediately so I am back to taking four pills per day. For some reason taking the pills too late in the evening make my bladder really active causing me to get up several times per night to stumble to the bathroom. I reduced the amount of water I take with them, but still have the same problem. I just have to remind myself to take them earlier and then I'm okay. Other than that, these pills work well at reducing my joint pain.

So, I started using this product a while back in hopes that it would assist me with joint pain and stiffness. When I received the product, I decided that I didn't need the full dosage of two capsules, twice a day -- as I am only 4'11" and it didn't make sense that I would use the same amount as my 6' husband. Also --- I could not be relied on to remember to take my afternoon dosage...so I just took two capsules, once a day, in the morning. Well, despite my silly unwillingness to follow the dosing guidelines, by the end of the first bottle I thought I was noticing enough of a subtle difference to order a second bottle. Halfway through my second bottle, I noticed that I had gone from 4 Ibuprofen every 4-6 hours to 2-3 Ibuprofen once a day or every other day. That improvement grew to a point that I was only taking Ibuprofen about once a week...and that was for headaches, not joint pain! Life got in the way shortly after that and I got off schedule and started just hitting and missing and then just missing. One day, I noticed that I was back full force on the ibuprofen. So -- I got consistent again...and this time started taking the recommended dosage and have once again been able to reduce my ibuprofen usage. I cannot recommend this product highly enough! I do recommend that you be consistent in your usage of the product and that you give it at least 45 to 60 days. Taking this product is now a high priority for me, I will not be without it!

I am almost finished consuming the product. Supplement this with glucosamine works better for me in terms of lesser joint pain and recovery over the past three months than just taking any one of the two. I do recommend this product while I'm trying out UC II collagen as well.

My slightly achy joints have much improved since I started taking these capsules. Bonus is that my skin also looks plumper!

This stuff works for my joints & there is an appreciable difference in my mobility & some pain relief, although this is not a ‘cure all’. Start at a low dose for the first week, as I took full dose immediately & found myself incredibly constipated with stomach pains. Having reduced the dose right back & then gone up again, I’m back ‘to normal’ over 3 weeks........

Health Logics Bio Cell collagen type 2 is the best in the market, it improve my joint, make my knee feel so much better, increase collagen content in my skin. Thanks Amazon such have this online platform convenience for me to get supplements from US.

I've tried quite a few collagen capsules over the last year. And to be honest this is no better than the cheaper ones. They are good that there is no bad taste. But I haven't noticed and benefits from taking this. But I have only had the 1 bottle. I just can't justify spending this much again when I haven't felt and real benefits from taking it.
