For me this is easily 5+ stars. It’s the best Aperol brand and one of those bottles I keep going back to because it always delivers the same great taste. The flavour is exactly what you want: bittersweet, refreshing and distinctive, with that unmistakable orange character that works perfectly in a spritz. It feels classic for a reason, and once chilled and mixed properly it is hard to beat. What I like most is that it is incredibly reliable. Whether for a casual drink at home, with friends, or especially in summer, it always feels like the right bottle to have. The 1L size is also great value if you already know you enjoy it. Overall, this is a proper staple and, in my opinion, the best Aperol option out there. Classic, refreshing and always enjoyable — definitely 5+ stars.

Great mixer and flavour.

I had never heard of this before but I took a chance and I'm glad I did. I like that it's not a sweet mixer and not very high proof in the alcohol content. I have since ordered more through Amazon and the prices have been a bargain. I mix a small amount of it with soda or sparkling water. It's a really refreshing drink.

I absolutely love this drink - it's one of those that goes under the radar when compared to the more popular drinks like flavoured gins, but those that haven't tried it are SERIOUSLY missing out. The flavour profile is a balance of sweet and bitter orange flavours, making it incredibly refreshing. It's a drink that you add with a mixer. There is the classic spritz with sparkling wine, sparkling water, lots of ice and a generous wedge of orange, or just with a splash of lemonade. It is certainly a summer drink, but I'm sure the orange notes would be great with some Christmas/winter inspired cocktails. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to have a classy refreshing option for their drinks cabinet, and wants to stand out from the gin crowd!

A bit pricey but good

My wife loves Aperol, so this is an easy win in our house. It has that bittersweet orange flavour that is very distinctive and I think it is one of those drinks where people either really enjoy it or just do not understand the hype at all. We mostly use it for Aperol Spritz. The easy version we make is around 3 parts Prosecco, 2 parts Aperol and 1 part soda water, served over plenty of ice. Add an orange slice if you have one and it feels much more like a proper summer drink. The 1L bottle is useful if you make spritz regularly or have people over, and because Aperol is quite strong in flavour you do not need huge amounts each time. If you already know you like that bitter-orange taste, this is a safe buy. If you prefer sweet drinks, probably try it somewhere first before committing to a full bottle.
