Say to get out & easy to put away.
Having a hand mixer handy is so much better than dragging the big one out. This kitchen aid one works great!

Cannot get light fluffy butter for frosting- fastest speed is still too slow!!
ooohhh- I'm SOOO mad at myself!! Trying to pick a new blender knowing I had til "Sept" something (but not sure which date) I come to find out it was actually the 1st!! and now I'm STUCK with this 'high end' mixer that BARELY mixes fast enough to fluff butter and make the easiest frosting there is- American!! But easy or not- you STILL need a fast mixer and though this has a name I know and looks decent- I'm not feeling so good about it's longevity with how thin the beaters are and how slow the highest speed is... UGH... Did I mention just HOW mad at myself I am?? Good grief... hmm....what family member or friend might need a new hand mixer??? ๐๐ค....๐คฃ๐Just kidding... but you guys DO like my desserts... Seriously though- this is one of the more expensive ones on Amazon here... and now I've gotta decide if I'm gonna buy a SECOND one?? My advice- go with one of the Chinese sounding off brand cheap ones- they'll probably last as long and will be so fast you'll be complaining about there being no slow speed ;-) haha But you can deal with that- I used to just pulse it and use the beaters to hand mix it some before finally turning my old trusty cheap hand mixer that lasted for like 15 years and then used it to whip all manner of things to their absolute peak! I'd break that thing out even when I have a high end stand mixer!! Just easy to use these things to reduce the amt of time spent scraping down the bowl! Btw- the lower stars are not about me being mad at myself for being stuck with this thing... that I could buy two of the ones I had chosen to replace it....not at all- it's for this thing sounding like it's gonna croak at it's highest speed even though it's not fast enough to get my butter light and fluffy before starting to add in powdered sugar! I shiver to think how it'll do with egg whites to make meringue... But I'll be sure to come admit if it does it! Not holding my breath. ANYone want a mediocre fancy name mixer that was used once for half of what I paid?? ;-) lol...but if you only need it for say mixing things that aren't too terribly thick or need a really fast speed- this may be a great mixer for you!!

I love my Kitchenaid mixer!
This mixer is perfect for me. I like to start out slowly as I start mixing my ingredients. I tried two other brands because my husband thought I should have a more powerful mixer. I didn't like them! They didn't have slow settings. When I turned the mixers on, ingredients began flying everywhere. It made a big mess. The Kitchenaid mixer has a slow start setting. I had no problems with food flying in my kitchen. I love the pretty, classy grey color I chose. It goes so well with my kitchen. They have many other beautiful colors available too. Kitchenaid is the best.
