Having some experience with portable monitors I know the general key requirements of what's needed. A High resolution for a sharp picture , proper color gamut for vibrant picture, high refresh rate for quick response, sturdy build quality with a good stand, versatile connectivity options and of course a reputable company. My past monitor had most of these but I was looking for a upgrade, a step up. I searched around and landed on the UPerfect brand, a very reputable company with a solid warranty. It's with their 18" 2K 144Hz Portable Monitor, I found the big step up features I was looking for. First the big step up to 2K, a mandatory feature, a razor sharp 2560x1600 resolution with 144 Hz refresh rate for very quick response. In addition to 8-bit+FRC technology, FreeSync and HDR for wide dynamic range for color and contrast,a great bonus for a Brilliant picture. Photo and videos look amazing. The 18" screen is for lack of a better word is, perfect, large enough to give that big picture, larger than most laptops but not too large making it portable and fits into most travel cases you can easily get or may have already. The connectivity suite is abundant, two USB C connectors for power and device connections, AUX for Audio Output, HDMI connection for older laptops and devices and also streaming players if desired, making it all around a fantastic purchase for work or entertaining on the go. I have use it as a 2nd monitor for my laptop via a USB C cable for 2 work screens or as 2nd screen for browsing or viewing entertainment on breaks. I have even used this for viewing movies while on vacation when a TV was not present. The screen is very bright and has two internal speakers so sound is great. This device can even be use with your phone as a display for gaming or viewing content such as movies also. No separate streaming device needed with your phone. Even with or without DEX you can use your phone apps on a large screen. As far as customization, the monitor has a slew of settings easily accessible from the right side panel, from brightness, color, HDR, sound, volume, picture color, saturation, temperature, game mode, black-equilizer, freeSync, to be honest more controls than I would ever need but there for the experts. The monitor comes with all the adapters and cables you will need. I think I counted 4 cables, USBs, Mini HDMI and a small power brick. They even include 4mm Vesa screws for mounting. They have truly thought of every thing for the customer. Now as they say, I saved the best for last. With all this beautiful monitor has to offer already, the icing on the cake is that its a touch screen. I do not know what more you could ask for. The touch controls are very response on both Windows and also get this, on Android. The touch sensitivity is just like using my windows laptop. Dragging icons, opening closing apps. I tested both windows and my phone and the response is just as responsive. Now my "big" picture is complete. The addition of the touch control on this monitor make it the "Perfect" monitor. I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for portable monitor with a beautiful picture. Save yourself the time and go straight to this monitor without question so you start at the top.

Ever since I received this portable monitor, I've had nothing but issues trying to get the touchscreen to work Issues I'm seeing - Controls go haywire and start selecting different apps and menus without my input as soon as a device is connect - Wrong resolution detected when using Samsung Dex - Touch screen suddenly stop work while using it to navigate specific apps (MX Player, Chrome App, etc) - Screen flickers while playing specific games (Steam Deck connected to the monitor) Things I've tried to workaround the issues - Tried different thunderbolt 3/4 cables - Connected to different devices (samsung galaxy tab, steam deck, rog ally, cell phone). Overall, not happy with the touchscreen performance and I'd rather opt for the non-touchscreen variant. Great screen quality and color vibrancy, terrible touch screen and screen performance. Update: I returned the monitor

Uperfect customer service reached out to me to offer a protective bag. I haven't gotten it yet, but it's a nice gesture. As for the monitor itself, it's great. I'm not noticing any input delay in fighting games or any other games, for that matter. The image is crisp and the touch screen is nice to have if I clumsily forget my mouse and keyboard on my way to the FGC meetup. I have two issues with it, but one is my fault as it's clearly listed in the product description. I just overlooked it that it uses mini HDMI. I needed to order a 10' cable. The other issue is that there's a small blemish on the left side of the screen, but only on black screens. Not even dark grey. I was offered a partial refund if I decided to keep it. I think I'm going to keep it out of convenience and to save some money. Oh, I forgot one other issue. It has speakers, but they aren't very capable. In a pinch, they get the job done, but use headphones or get some speakers. I've included an image of the screen at full brightness in a dark room on a black screen so you can see it at it's worst.

The 18 inches Uperfect monitor is exceeding my expectation such as: Design: It is foldable design. Full HD display; it is easy to slip into a backpack without needing a seperate case. Built in Stand: it is very stable and it is adjustable, loved it. Display Quality: it is full HD resolution, clear and very smooth There is no issue with connectivity, it comes with USB C calbe and can connect to laptop and other devices Performance is fast, not slowness when moving screen around from side to side It is very convenience for traveling and for commute to the office use; compact and portable. It is an excellent choice for those who needs a big screen for portable/clear/bright screen.

After using this display for a little while now, I can honestly say it's worth the 5 star review. The colors are fantastic, the build quality is great, and the features you get are really nice. Touch screen functionality works great (if you use Windows, it works perfect. If you use MacOS, it doesn't do what you'd think if you're using a laptop, which is a fault of the way MacOS handles touch input, not the display). It does take a fair amount of power from whatever device you're using to drive it, so keep that in mind. I was able to use it with both a 2021 MacBook Pro and a newer Lenovo Yoga without issues, and it really works nice in my workflow. The vesa mount is a huge plus. This one only has 2 screw holes, but by using a vesa to cheese plate adapter, I've had no issues or complaints, nor do I think it's going to cause problems. The only gripe I have with it is the brightness setting. It gets plenty bright, and is 100% useful in most scenarios (I think outside on a sunny day is a bit much to ask of it), but the setting isn't stored once the display is powered off. This just means you'll have to turn the brightness up every time you plug it in if you're in a brighter room. Definitely not a deal breaker, just something to note. I have a couple other displays from UPerfect, and I have no problem getting screens from them. They look great, travel well and have plenty of features to boot. I'll attach a quick video of my first time using the display, but I've removed the audio. Unboxing this was a pleasure, and everything you need to get started is included. All in all, definitely a good purchase. Working with UPerfect for issues is also quite easy. Reaching out to them by email, they respond pretty quick (within a day or two) and warranty conversations are dealt with promptly.
