Is there a legible expiration date on the jars? A lot of store brands are impossible to read.

Yes, it is stamped clearly in black ink on the bottom of the jars. I have replaced all my cooking spices and spice mixes over these last seven months because of the super quality I consistently found. I checked about half of them (n = 15) and found all were legible/readable. My paprika was August 2016. I used it on humys with EVO and sprinkled paprika for pita bread dipping and the taste was simply awesome! Hope this helps...

Yes, it does!!! There is a plastic shaker top on the jar, once you take off the outer metal lid. Hope this helps!

Expiration date of this batch?

Hi. That's a good question but not an easy answer. Currently there are 20 sellers of this product on Amazon Marketplace and they "probably" have 6 or more batches. The product I currently have on my store shelf has a sell by date of SEP2023. The maker of this product, Frontier, says that you can expect at least a 2 year shelf life AFTER opening the bottle.
