Will this work for an Audiotechnica AT2035 for voice work?

The FetHead GE will not work for the AT2035 or other phantom-powered mics, but the FetHead Phantom will work for those models.

What is the difference with this germanium version? is this useful only for musical instruments? i will only do voice podcasting with shure sm58 mic.

Hello, I’ve tried this with 2 mics, shure sm58 & sm7b. The first thing I noticed was less gain is needed after installing. But for vocals I couldn’t even notice any difference while hearing records I did. So I think it might do more of a better job for musical instruments. ALSO if you’re using sm58 for podcasts, just tweak with EQ’s and this mic will sound soooo goood! I’m using this mic for almost everything including podcasts. Its a great mic. And if your buying it to reduce white noise or ambient noise, this doesn’t solve it. You gotta buy a good/decent soundboard/mixer to reduce white noise AND treat the room your podcasting in, close AC put carpets on the floor etc. to reduce ambient noise. And so you’ll have a great time podcasting/streaming.
