Very handy for tackling poke salad pruning
Seems to be a good quality and value combination. Good heft, clearing most things in front of it. Some of the bigger stalks responded better to angular slices. Fits my hand well.. Comfortable grip and seems very balanced. "Machet sharp" out of the package. Pleased with my purchase.

Quality construction and good balance
This is a well made machete that was delivered with a keen edge. It is well balanced and has a comfortable grip. I feel it is worth the price premium over lower quality imported machetes. It appears to be a tool that will last and that can tolerate rough usage.

Itโs a Fiskars. Solid.
I own a tree farm. Itโs about 260 acres. So there are large swaths of land where I am cutting down weed trees, and other things around younger seedlings. This thing has been really tough. And sharpens up easily. Nor have I had to sharpen it that much.
