Valvoline Restore & Protect Fully Synthetic 5W-30 Motor Oil, 1 Quart

Too soon to say whether its cleaning inside as it suggests 4 oil changes to show the effect. But the oil definitely made the engine noticeably quieter, smoother, and reduced the fluctuating revs I had due to the sludge (which I am hoping to clean by this oil). So its definitely effective in getting control of the internal lubrication requirements.

I really want to believe this works but didn't really see a noticeable difference, worked well as any other motor oil. I'm not an experienced car person but I did notice it ran more quietly in the cold weather, which I can only count as an improvement. One thing I was kind of irritated by that I didn't see advertised on the bottle is that you're not supposed to use this with any other kind of motor oil. Take it with a grain of salt but, According to my mechanic mixing this with regular motor oil can damage your car. I really feel like if this is true it should be stated very boldly on the bottle so you can't miss it. Could also be my mechanic trying talk me into a more expensive oil change using this oil. All in all, I really want this to work and restore old parts better, but I think it's pretty overpriced unless it really does work

This stuff is legit! I've used it on my 2016 Honda Pilot and my 2016 Hyundai Elantra GT. Valvoline advises it takes 4 oil changes to really see the full difference. They're right - I'm on my 5th oil change for each car and these engines are "stealth" and quiet. No ticking and no slapping - just the quiet purr of a happy engine.

I mixed this with mobil 1 synthetic high mileage, 1 quart of this stuff and 5 quarts of mobil in the ole chevy ls 5.3L. (tahoe 2005 lt) Noticed the next couple of days while checking the oil that the burnt oil on the dipstick has been cleaned off. That's how good this stuff is. I had even engine flushed with liquimoly earlier this year- so this is actually getting stuff out that even the flush additive missed. Also, looks like just 1 quart is cleaning like that. Imagine if I did 6 full quarts of this. That's probably what I'll try next time. My LS has 378,000 miles and I change the oil religiously with a purolator boss filter every 3000 miles. It still purrs like a kitten and runs like new. No ticks or anything else. I know, amazing right? Knock on wood. I hope you can have a similar experience. Finally, the price is on point. Recommended.
