Samsung Galaxy A36 5G Smartphone 8GB 256GB Unlocked SIM-Free - Awesome White B+

I purchased the 8Gb ram 256GB memory version. Very good Android smartphone for a decent price. Pros: Great value for the price. Easy set up, including copying apps and settings from my old phone. Samsung includes five major updates for their phones, so on day one, it updated to Android 16. Smooth, fast, and stable performance. Excellent battery life with a built-in optimiser. Excellent front and selfie cameras. Cons: NO SD CARD SLOT. This means the on board 8GB of Ram and 256GB of Memory is all you get. Thicker and heavier than other comparable non-Samsung Android 16 models. Very square edges, which makes finding a comfortable case a challenge. (I purchased a Poetic Guardian Case.) I am keeping an eye on the memory, and will use the Universal Android Debloater if I need to make room.

The device is very good, it delivers what it promises, good battery life, excellent cameras for the price range, the camera is good, the phone quickly charges to 100% even if you are using the phone while charging. Fingerprint unlocking always recognizes my fingerprint on the first try without a hitch. Did careful research prior to purchasing this phone and this was the phone most recommended for what I needed. Certainly a good choice. Very satisfied with its performance. Dislike the rigmarole on switching it on and off which is needlessly complex.

Easy to set up and use. I transferred all my data from a Nokia with no problems at all.

Brought for my daughter as she dropped her Samsung galaxy s10+ and broke it. Excellent value for money does everything she needs it to do,great battery life,camera is good but not as good as the new s models which you would expect. It does not have wireless charging which is a shame but not end of the world. Great value all round phone that will last for many hopefully

This phone is not esim compatible despite it being sold as such. Don't get caught out like I did.
