Fantastic- read this & buy!
This is great to squash normal burgers and make them into the squash burgers shops sell. Simple put normal burgers between sheets of baking paper and put pressure on the handle to squash down. The advantage of this is that when you compare the cost of squash burgers & normal burgers in the shops you get much less weight for your money with bought squash burgers shops sell. With this you can get the better value normal burgers and convert them. You can also use mince mixed with seasonings etc roll it in a ball and make squash burgers from scratch. This pays for itself fast!

Great press it made delicious smashed burgers. Well priced and would recommend. Deserves the 5 stars given.

Makes a proper smash burger
Makes a proper smash burger, is easy to clean, and is reasonably priced. I was on the fence between this and a cast-iron one. I am glad I went with this because I can put it through the dishwasher. This tool does more than just make a thin patty. Read up on the Maillard reaction to understand why a smash burger is so delicious. Five stars.

Good light weight smasher
Sturdy but light weight. Its easy to stow away in a basket or kitchen cart. Does the job as expected. I left it sitting on the patty after smashing and later on it wasn't too hot to handle. Easy to clean and dishwasher safe. Its a smaller size then the usual 7 inches that I see. Just for the size specifications before you buy anything.

Lightweight, for Camping?!
Not near as thick and heavy as the Bacon press, lightweight and the SS is nice but if left on the heat the handle gets a bit warm, well built just would think they were both gonna be similar, bacon press is much more impressive

Quality made sturdy press - just what I needed
The press appears to be well made and sturdy. I've used it already and it's so much better than using a spatula. The trade-off is that, although it's not as heavy as a cast iron press, it's super easy to clean and maintain. I'd definitely buy this one again. And a superb price to boot!
