This review contains updated information (6 months after purchase) Absolutely wonderful fan. It's been a lifesaver in the current heatwave. Easy to fill, easy to use. Bonus points for also being a portable charger. The fan itself runs a little loud, but provides a decent airflow. The mist can suddenly stop when the device is folded and placed on a surface, but easily resumes with a little intervention. Power is very decent. It's a relatively large fan, but not cumbersome. Overall, I think this was definitely worth the price I paid. Additional information. Ok, so cleaning the inside is a little tricky. I find that it needs a regular clean, otherwise you can get slimy deposits inside the tank. I just pop a little warm water and a drop of dish soap in the tank, give it a good shake and try to reach the edges with a straw cleaner. Rinse it out and run it a little and it's nice and clean. One more thing I'd like to add. I am still using this fan even in December. I'm autistic and I find that the mist on my face is incredibly relaxing and calming. One of my most beloved purchases.

Absolutely brilliant at keeping me cool in the recent hot weather. I love how portable it is, and how well it works. The charge lasts well and the mist function feels extra cooling. Although you do have to top up with water frequently. I bought 2 more for family members and recommended to others. I cook a lot so i found i could place this to point directly to me whilst cooking in a hot kitchen, unlike the larger floor standing one i have which would fan the flames on the cooker too, making it difficult to cook. Ive also used this hung around my neck whilst vacuuming too lol.

It's a really good little fan for the price. Battery life is great and it can hold enough water for a day. It is easy to charge and doesnt take long. It comes with a little plastic bottle to fill the tank. The mist is okay but not enough for my taste. It is portable and comes with a little lanyard. It is a bit loud on the highest setting but it blows some strong wind!

It says in the ad "HandFan 4000mAh Misting Fan with Portable Charger" - there was no charger so I returned it and re-ordered - despite the "portable charger" being pictured on the side of the box there was STILL no charger included. Pretty poor show to be fair. Fan itself is good and misting far better thanothers I have experienced

Absolutely amazing fan, used it so many times now. would be a deciding factor in not working if I didn't have it with me (bus driver) .... so a must in a very hot cab!! Battery lasts all day if on lowest fan setting with water spray.... do have to top up water frequently, but that's no hardship at all.

We bought this as some other reviews had mentioned how much of a life saver it was in Florida, which is what we are preparing for. We bought this just as the UK June 2026 heatwave arrived with 35+ temperatures which was more than enough of a comparable test to Florida (all be it slightly different climate). I thought it took good to be true, there were cheaper fans on Amazon, but they all seemed to have their drawbacks. Fast speed but small battery, big battery medium speed but small mister. Wont run while charging, didn't come with neck strap, didn't fold, didn't mist and blow at the same time etc etc. This has put all those issues to bed. This is a brilliant fan. I turned it on and the high speed does have some good force on it but I thought "this will help... But not sure for how long" and then I put the mister on for 5 seconds and MY GOODNESS it was heavenly. Don't buy any of these fans expecting to hold it a million miles from your head and all will be fine, anything around a foot distance or less is great and works perfectly fine. I hate all these cheap looking things and was sceptical, but my units (ordered 2) were great!

Great all round. Used it in NYC at the Hyrox competition! Kept everyone cool the charge lasted and the little refill bottle of water did not leak. Very strong fan and missing power. I would recommend this product don’t hesitate.

I ove this fan! I get very hot in the summer cause I dont make hormones so I can't cool myself down at all. This is wonderful for cooling me down. I have even found myself in bed during the night using this fan to cool me down. If it was just a fan it wouldn't work half as well. The fan with the mist combo really cools you down. I like that there are 3 different speeds to the fan, also that there is a way to hang it on your neck so your hands are free. My face gets very hot so I wear it around my neck often. The battery lasts a long time and you can even charge your phone with this fan. For $22 dollars I got the fan with 400mah. Its powerful and does its job well. I might buy a 2nd 1. 😊

Highly recommend this fan. I had the older version of this fan that lasted me for years and I loved it. This newer version is even better. Fan feels more powerful and with the larger capacity water tank, I have to fill it less often. You can feel the difference when the mist function is on. The battery lasts much longer than the previous version. I use my fans a lot. We go to minor league baseball games all summer long in NC heat and I'm at the age of hot flashes, and this fan works great to make me feel cooler. The included lanyard means I don't have to carry it in my hand and can eat a hot dog and still have the fan blowing on me. Low noise and easily fits in my small clear backpack for games.

The fan is terrific! It has 3 speed settings and is powerful for a handheld. I charged the battery, and it lasted for 3+ hours without losing any charge. I also love that the handle bends down so you can set it on a table and adjust it so you don’t have to hold it. Finally, the lanyard and wristlet are really nice features. I gave it 4 stars because the instructions did NOT tell me how to activate the mist mode. I filled the reservoir with water, but the mist didn’t work. The instructions did not tell me that I needed to hold the button down 3 seconds to activate. If you’re selling a misting fan, don’t you think that being able to activate the mister is super important to share? I only found out by reading the comments after I used it. Ah well, I’ll know next time. Made in China.

Got this today, along with another brand fan, and brought it the bar to sit outside. I’m very impressed so far. The mist is so fine that I barely feel the water and it just feels like ice cold AC. I got this one for my fiancé and the other brand for myself. I stole his already and I’m ordering another one of these for myself. It also still works while charging which is handy. I wish the mist lasted longer but I understand that design wouldn’t really work with the water reservoir.
