4wire Metposts 75mm (3”) 4 pack Timber Fence Post Grip Support Spike x 4

Worked very well for what I needed, which was to replace a section of ranch fence. Knocked into reasonably soft ground easily using a small piece of old post. Did not twist or turn and is very firm. I like the idea of tightening the bolts to pull onto the post and this works ok in the main but it is difficult to get the tail of the coach bolt to hold tight and not twist in the square it fits for tightening. Needs a bolt with two heads rather than one as you can’t grip it and the square doesn’t hold it firm. I would buy again, post itself is great.

These are very sturdy post spikes which take a hammering very well indeed.

Got 4 of these for a rose arch, was a bit of a job to knock them into the ground as the spike is really long but once in very solid and the feet of the arch have slotted in easily and fixed nice and firmly.

Used for my wooden rose arch these are the second ones I’ve used I have them on another arch they are long lasting also have on fence
