Do yourself a favor if you are hot!
Alright, so I caved and bought this 14,000 BTU 3-in-1 portable AC after one too many sweaty nights pretending a box fan was doing something. Spoiler: it wasn’t. This thing? A total lifesaver. It doesn’t just blow cold air—it blasts it like it’s trying to prove a point. Setup was pretty painless. I didn’t need a degree in engineering—just had to wrestle with the window kit for a bit and boom, cool air on demand. It’s got wheels, which is great, because I have the upper body strength of a kitten and still managed to roll it from room to room. It’s got three modes: AC, fan, and dehumidifier. I mostly stick to AC because I want to live in an icebox, but the other modes are a nice bonus. Yeah, it makes some noise, but it’s kind of a soothing “I’m working hard for you” type of hum. Like a loyal little robot. Long story short: if you’re melting in your own home and tired of pretending heat builds character, get this thing. Your sweat glands will thank you.

cool living room instantly
I recently purchased the 14000 BTU Portable Air Conditioner and it has been a game-changer for keeping my large living room cool this summer! From the moment I turned it on, I could feel the immediate difference in the temperature. The powerful cooling system brings the room down to a comfortable temperature within minutes, which is impressive given the 700 sq. ft. coverage. The three fan speeds are fantastic for adjusting the airflow, and I especially appreciate the sleep mode, which keeps things cool and quiet overnight. The added dehumidifier feature has been a bonus, helping to reduce the humidity on those particularly sticky days. Setting up the unit was straightforward, and the 24-hour timer is a great feature for scheduling when I want the unit to run. The automatic louver ensures even distribution of the cool air, making every corner of the room pleasant. This unit is perfect for anyone looking to beat the heat without a permanent installation!

Worth the money...so far.
I read where this was a quite unit and easy to assemble. If I wouldn't have had a similar air conditioner, I might have had some issues putting all the parts together. It does work great. But it is a little loud. It reminds me of a a boat racing across a lake with high waves. It gets loud and then backs off, gets loud and backs off. But I like noise to fall asleep so it worked out fine for me.

Big unit ready to handle a big cooling job!
I wasn’t sure how well a dual dehumidifier /ac unit, especially one that is 14,000btu would work doing two jobs instead of just one big job, but this unit is a beast! The fan power, even without cooling activated, is enough to reduce the temp in a large area on its own. The remote makes switching processes easier than the buttons on the unit, but it can all be run from the base unit without remote use. I attached a video of the flap moving up and down to better circulate the air. I have not yet gotten a lot of water built up, but it’s just starting to warm up in WI where I’m at. It will get extremely humid here during the summer which is why I wanted the dual function unit. I’m so happy with this portable ac for a few $$ more than a standard portable one and now I don’t need the additional $250+ dehumidifier. I’m just going to use the attached line to connect a hose and have it run out the machine vs emptying a tray. Super happy with the strong fan and low noise in a/c mode. !!!!

Buyers Beware Read My Review
We purchased this based on reviews we read. We received the package which was packaged very well. This item though consistently turns off and back on re sets itself. It does not really cool your room that well. We put it in our bedroom which is a smaller 15 x15 bedroom. Not worth the time. Why I did not return it. I unfortunately threw away the packaging and box (Which was my mistake) never thought this item would work so poorly! Since I did not have the box and packaging I am not spending more money on this stuff. So it is in our basement now, we are going to have to get a window air never again throw away packaging until you know the item works!!

Cold as a cucumber!
Keeps my room 100% cold all summer long! Its a little loud but if U can get over that I recommended get this to beat the Oklahoma heat! I cannot stress how good the air flow is, I dont even need to turn on my fan. be warned tho, instructions are a little unclear.

After 4 months of nonstop running this AC is no longer able to cool a 12'x12' room.
This unit has begun failing to cool my room. The sun does not hit my window and my room is only 12'x12'. I can still feel cool-ish air coming out, but it just can't overcome the existing hot air. It's not strong enough even for my tiny room. So I'm not sure what happened, I assume it's not built to last very long. And yes, I ran this thing NONSTOP for 3 months and 24 days. So if you want an exact clock for how long this thing runs it's around that. The first month was 82° outside on average and it worked great. The second month was 86° on average and it worked great. The third month was 90° and it seemed to work great. The fourth month was 93° and it really struggled but kept this room under 75°. And now it's failing to keep it below 75° and it's 90° outside. It is giving me absolutely no errors or warnings, it's just silently failing at its job.

Not the greatest AC unit in the world.
I'm disappointed with this AC unit, but what did I expect for $210? To me it is worth the price I paid for it. This portable AC unit cools my 10' x 13' bedroom okay. It isn't quiet, but it doesn't bother me because I often play fan noise with a dark screen on YouTube to help me sleep. The AC thermostat isn't accurate. I keep a separate thermometer in my bedroom so I can get an accurate temperature reading and adjust the AC thermostat accordingly. The settings aren't backlit which would be a big help. I use a small flashlight to make adjustments to the AC at night, so I don't have to turn on a light. The manual is small. The text is small and hard to read. The illustrations are small and basically useless. A lot of the grammar is bad and often doesn't make sense. Bottom line: It is better to buy a window AC rather than a portable AC if you have the choice.
