When you have to replace a battery...
This reviewer has enjoyed the use of his Canon Elph digital camera for over ten years and is disinclined to replace it just because more recent models have more bells and whistles. Unfortunately, the original battery is showing its age, and won't hold a charge very long. This Canon replacement battery is just the thing to keep that old and familiar camera working fine. Well recommended.

I purchased the battery for my Canon PowerShot A2500 digital camera because the old one was no good anymore. and with the new battery I have no problems with taking pictures with my camera.

Pricey, But Very Good Backup Battery
This OEM Canon extra battery, I purchased from Amazon.com, makes it easy for me to utilize my digital camera all day without worrying about how much battery life I have left. I can take the fully charged extra battery with me and pop it in when necessary. The price for the battery was higher than I expected but the battery life is as good as the battery that came with my Canon Elph 110 HS camera, so I am pleased with the purchase.
