I like it a lot! Substantial, easy grip handle, the shape makes it easy to pour, keeps my coffee warm a long time, easy to clean, attractive. My only nit is that there should have been at least 4 of the rubber feet, instead of 3!

I was using my Instant Pot to make yogurt. It stopped holding the correct temperature to make yogurt. Bummer. I don't want to have another appliance, and I am not so sure about leaving the yogurt to cultivate for a long period of time in the oven or other places. I saw in a video of someone using a thermos for keeping their milk and cultures warm for making yogurt, and thought what a good idea. I am telling you. This makes better yogurt than any other method I have tried. Delicious and thick. It's probably good as a hot liquid delivery vehicle as well.

The carafe body is top quality but the lid has significant problems: getting it fully tightened requires a good grip on the pot and a very strong thumb; the lid leaks a small amount of coffee when you're pouring the last 1/3 of the pot's contents; and the wood-grain "wrap" on the thumb piece started to peel after about 10 days of use. The last item in my list is purely cosmetic but the first two are daily annoyances.

We decided not to spend extra money on a coffeemaker with thermal carafe which we prefer to the burned taste of coffee that sits on a warming plate. So, we bought an inexpensive drip coffeemaker and pour the freshly made coffee into this carafe. It keeps our coffee warm for a good 4-5 hours. It is attractive sitting on the counter and is easy to clean Took off one star because it sometimes develops a "vapor lock " which changes the pour to a drizzle This is corrected by unscrewing the lid briefly to let air in then screwing it back on. Update: Have had since 9/25. Black coating is coming off.
