100 % Pure Japanese Yuzu Juice, 12 Ounce (Pack of 2)

It’s a really good yuzu juice! Nor from concentrate but still tasty!! Totally recommend it.

this is a "Second Pressing" product - says so on the back label of the bottle, which i noticed after i had received it. Oddly, there are no pictures of the back label in the ad listing, and there is NO mention of this being a second pressing product anywhere in the amazon listing. don't know if this is deceptive advertising on the part of the seller or poor quality control by amazon of their listing content, honestly don't care, i just want truthful advertising since we can't see all the sides and labels of a product before we buy them, unless the vendor provides such information. is this 100% pure Japanese yuzu juice? as far as i can tell it is. it's just less potent and flavorful than other 100% yuzu juice products that i've had. thought it might be watered down or from concentrate so i went to check out the ingredients section on the back label and that's where i saw it "Niban Shibori / Second Press" (in Japanese and English). sure the label also says "100% Natural" and "Pure Juice", plus the ingredients lists only yuzu juice, however, this is also the 100% pure remainder of the dregs that are left behind from the first pressing. not dissimilar to the difference between artisan extra virgin olive oil and regular olive oil. i'm not saying second pressing juice doesn't have legitimate culinary uses, but if you're expecting high-quality, full-bodied yuzu juice full of citrusy pop and flavor, this product isn't it.

This brand is my second favorite, "go to" Yuzu juice. It is very good for marinating vegetables and especially peppers. You get more Yuzu for the money with this brand. BUT, you need to note that this is a "second press" Yuzu. I use this for marinating peppers, a six month process for making my hot sauce. It is fine for this application. If you want to use as part of your marinade for cucumbers or radishes and then immediately serve, you are better off with "first press". I like the product.

I couldn’t find this locally, so was pleased to have it delivered. If you like Yuzu juice, this is a great one. 100% Yuzu juice gives a nice punch to cocktails and mock tails, and a little goes a long way.

You will find that you use this more than you now expect.

BUYER BEWARE This is "second press" NOT Yuzu juice. It's an inferior product with a very faint taste of fruit and no acidity to speak of. I feel as though I was duped as on the product page, the "second press" is in no way obvious and would have warned me of the incoming disappointment.

You don't need to use much at all. As a substitute for lime or lemon, it's delightfully different and has pushed my late afternoon gin and tonic to new heights. I look forward to my end of work way drink. Sooooo good!
