Best tool i ever had. i wasn't knew that this exists. this helped me a lot for my seeding work. i was doing some other ways but this is tool i want. i should have known this years ago. easy to handle, no soil damage. stable and perfect. easy to handle

Easy to put together, very sturdy, works effortlessly. The weight is manageable not heavy at all. It’s like using a broom! Great purchase!

Don’t make the same mistake I did in my video — definitely water the area before using this tool. You don’t need to soak the ground, but even a light watering makes a huge difference. It helps the tines penetrate the soil much more easily and makes removing dead grass far less work. I specifically bought this tool to prep an area where my dogs frequently pee, which left patches of dead grass behind. I decided to reseed with clover since it handles nitrogen differently than traditional grass, making it a much better fit for pet spots. This cultivator worked great for loosening the soil and helping prepare the area so the seeds can properly sprout. It’s lightweight and assembly was also incredibly simple. You just insert the tines into the slots and tighten the wheel — quick and straightforward. The only reason I deducted one star is because I’ve had trouble keeping the wheels tightened enough during use, and occasionally the tines will come loose. I’m not sure if I’m being too aggressive with it or if I’m a wimp and can’t tighten it enough haha, but aside from that, it’s been a very useful tool and does exactly what I needed it to do!

This looks like the ones you buy at Lowes or Home Depot, and works fair, not great. First of all they design these to patch plant so it requires a lot of work to prepare a small area, second, it seems sturdy, but, the bolts or knobs that hold all three cultivators in place come loose requiring you to stop and retighten them every few minutes. i don't expect it to hold up over the long haul, and, i regret not buying local. I have written dozens of reviews since 2017. I have had two responses in that time, and most of the time Amazon has blown me off as well, but, my goal is to help someone make an informed decision whether Amazon or the Seller come through or they don't.

This hand tiller is exactly what is needed in my spotty yard. It easily churns up the small areas of dirt. The product seems to be sturdy and well-made.

It was perfect for my needs of replanting overseeding a few areas. And my 5 year old grandson loves to use it to cultivate anything.

Works well for cultivating yard before laying grass seed, watering lightly area before use helps. Works for small areas or raised beds. However the thumb screws holding the tines keep coming loose.

This was easy to fit together & works well for small areas/patches of missing/ thin grass

This is a great little tool. I have raised garden beds. Different heights. This hand cultivator worked like a charm. I could adjust the length. Built very sturdy. Well worth the money.

Great rotary soil cultivator, this is a classic, well built and easy to assemble! Works great to lossen top soil. I am very pleased with this product, very reasonable price for this quality product!!!

The tool construction is lightweight and does not look like it would survive hard use However, my uses have been in light soil with no rocks.
