My mom said this tasted like chemicals. I thought it tasted much better than the store bought ones. I didn't see any clumping, versatile - works in tea, water, and tastes great. Great value! Crystallized consistency. Literally the entire lemon freeze-dried and ground up - ingredients are minimal.

I had this in my cart for a while because I couldn't decide if I wanted to try it. I finally ordered it and I'm so glad I did. It tastes great in smoothies and pudding. I'm looking forward to trying it in other dishes too. The bag says it can be used for baking.It doesn't smell great to me in the bag because it's concentrated. It tastes great though, very much like real lemon. I like it a lot more than lemon juice concentrates.Mine arrived as a powder. It's a bit granular and I can see how it could crystallize in high humidity. If I notice it clumping, I'll store it in a bag with a dessicant pack.It dissolves in water but takes its time. I haven't tried dissolving a lot of it to make something like lemonade, but I think that would work better in warm water.The bag is only 7 ounces but it should last a while, a little goes a long way.

I love this lemon powder and I planned to use it for a lemon lavender shortbread cookie recipe. I wanted to try my Mom's lemon lavender shortbread recipe as a gluten-free, sugar alternative, healthier recipe, which would have worked out well, and I was going to do a lemon honey glaze over the top of the shortbread cookies/biscuits, but I will have to do that later when I am feeling better because, for the first time attempting this recipe, I used way too much of this lemon powder. Therefore, I am saving the crumbs and what I made of the shortbread recipe as crumbles in the freezer to use for later for other items to bake or cook since there is no need to waste anything, and what was made will work for other things. This lemon powder really packs a seriously strong lemon punch, so I will have to adjust the recipe, which is fine because it just means using less than what I would normally use for this particular recipe. This lemon powder is great not just for baking, but a very small amount in hot water with honey or a bit of allulose sugar alternative, and just one dash of cyanine pepper or something a little spicey for tea can help immensely with a cold or flu. I ended up with a flu bug, and so did my son, James, so mixing this lemon powder with some hot water in a teacup really helps, I have also used it with a cinnamon tea blend. There are so many uses for this, and what I bought in one package has lasted quite a long time. I have used it a bit in hot cereal and other things requiring lemon. I am buying more soon to keep in stock on my pantry shelves. I will probably use the rest of the bag I have for my homemade teas to get over this flu until more arrives.
