Bracket broke due to heavy use and instead of replacing the whole assembly of door closer system, I just ordered the hardware. Very easy to replace.

This is a standard replacement closer bracket for Andersen doors. Installation is pretty straightforward but they could stand to use larger screws. It's fairly sturdy but like the one before it, I expect it to eventually fail after a few years with some heavy use. best advice, be carefuly when opening your doors and don't over-extend them to reduce some strain on the brackets (when holding the door open for example).

The kit has the part needed. It fit perfectly and was exact replacement. However, the kit has parts not needed as it is the one door frame bracket that is of poor design, so only that part will break. You are paying for more than needed but fixed the problem until the next time it breaks. 1st one lasted about 5 years.

It was the perfect replacement for broken hardware on my Andersen storm door.

Bought this to replace the old bracket that connected to the door frame. The bracket rusted out and broke.The bracket is not the same as the one that was made 15+ years ago. The holes line up pretty close but not exactly.This bracket uses 2 holes. The old one uses 4 holes. We'll see how well it lasts.
