This thing is the chef's kiss!
This top is nice, and very efficient.. I got this 2 hob inductance top to use in an off-grid camper running on solar to supplement my 3 hob gas stove... it works so well, I have only fired up the gas top for additional hobs when cooking 3 or more things at once... a testament to how much this thing surpassed my expectations. It has more finite controls than most people will ever need of a cooktop, myself included. I say that because it has timer, programmable clocks for on/off times, and temperature variance in 5° increments (I use Fahrenheit). It even has ten digit dialpads in addition to standard up/down arrows for selecting your temps and times... kinda overkill, but again... NICE. And all these options work independently for each of the 2 hobs. Can even select wattage between 900w and 1800w each. When using both simultaneously, both hobs fall back to 900W automatically, which still cooks as hot as needed to maintain preset temps. Keep in mind that aluminum pots & pans will NOT work with an induction top like this, which works electromagnetically to use the ferrous steel belly of the pan as the actual "heating element", instead of the old exothermic systems which heat the pan from beneath like a standard electric coil, electric infra-red glasstops, or gas eyelets. To those unfamiliar with the physical differences between induction cooktops and infra-red cooktops, they are both "glass-tops", typically sleek and black in color, but that's where the similarities end. You can turn on an infra-red glass top and it will usually glow.... and it WILL burn your hand to the touch with no pot there. But these induction tops never glow, as they're electromagnetic... and without any compatible cookware present, it can't heat your hand at all unless you have ferroused jewelry on, or ferrous steel pins in your wrist, etc. If a magnet doesn't stick to a piece of metal, then that metal won't heat up with this unit, so that's a good test when shopping for pots, pans, skillets, griddles, etc. Also fun fact: When you turn the power off, the heat of the metal disappears into the food/liquid almost instantly; for example, a whistling tea kettle falls silent SURPRISINGLY quicker than on a gas hob... I was pretty amazed the suddenness... not an important fact, but quite novel to me. I'm also amazed at how fast this little beast boils water on its default 1800W setting. Fastest heating stove I've ever had, and that's including the hot-rod Roper gas top I grew up with as a kid... gas tops these days can't even compare to that thing, and still this induction top has it beat. Color me impressed!

Worth every penny.
This thing is amazing works absolutely amazing for what I need and heats up incredibly fast. I have used gas my whole life and I feel like this thing heats up and cooks faster than gas. My only complaint is the fans are a bit loud but I’ll get used to it. It’s well made and easy to clean just use your spray degreaser wipe it dry then use some glass cleaner/windex don’t waste your money on those expensive bottles of induction cooktop cleaner spray it’s basically just glass cleaner. Also another trick if you have anything that’s cooked on the top and you can’t wipe it off. Use a razor blade for box cutters and scrape it off very carefully not to cut yourself or scratch the surface go slow. It works great for me to always get the surface super shiny and clean. Go buy yourself one you won’t be sorry.

Excellent countertop burner
We had this product for several months now and love it. It fits perfectly on the counter in our RV. Love the fact that each burner can have the temperature adjusted individually as well as preset setting. The burner will automatically shut off after 2 hours as well as when the pot has been removed. The top is easily cleaned. Overall, we are very happy with how durable and functional it is and would recommend.

Highly recommend this induction cooktop !
LOVE IT! I have a high end Dacor gas range in the home that we moved into a year ago. It’s a great stove, works perfectly, but I am a huge fan of induction stoves for countless reasons (precision heating, ability to have ultra low or boil instantly, safety, utility cost of use, lack of heat into the home…). I put a fireproof cover over my range (also bought on Amazon) and replaced my whole cooktop with these 2 burners. I figure that generally I don’t use more than 2 anyway ! I’m thrilled. This 2 burners NuWave induction cooktop is excellent. Rivals my previous very expensive induction cooktops I’ve had in other homes for a fraction of cost. I’ve found that I can even use it like a “slow cooker” because of the range of temperature control. I couldn’t be happier with this item. Disclaimer - I also have countless other NuWave small appliances so I am a bit of an overall fan !😊

Wonderfully efficient but. . . .Um???
My oven stopped working and this induction stovetop was the best struggle meal solution until I could get a suitable replacement. It shipped fast and unboxed it excitedly. However, it took me over two weeks to get over my initial scare of using it due to the mild chemical/electrical odor and warning label on the bottom of the unit that alleges the induction stovetop " may cause cancer and reproductive heath concerns." I took it out the box and aired it out over those two weeks and called customer service to ask questions. They explained that they put this on all electrical appliances as a precaution. I reluctantly gave it a try. The unit did not cook or register at all with the quality stainless steel Calphalon pots. I got an E1 error message. However, it works really well with a stainless steel Chantal skillet that luckily I had available. The pasta dish (pictured) and omlette were perfectly cooked. The manual and instructions offer helpful tips on several settings to ensure your meals are cooked properly. Overall, I am pleased with how efficiently it cooks. It takes up very little space in my tiny kitchen. However, I am still pretty freaked out by the disclaimer so I use it at minimum. It also loses one star because the instructions say you can use stainless steel or iron pots but that was not entirely my experience.

Very nice and easy to use
I have been into induction cooking for over 15 years and have a regular induction stove at home. I also have a single burner in my camper van. Cooking with induction is very easy to do. It is the most energy-efficient way to cook on a stovetop, and it is more regulable than gas. You have to use induction-ready pots, but all that means is that a magnet can stick to their bottom. Cast iron like Lodge, enameled cast iron like La Crusset, most stainless steel, and anything with a magnetic disc work. You can find such cookware in various stores, from big boxes to high-end. I wanted a double-burner unit and chose this one. Nuwave is a well-known company, and this unit feels excellent. It has various controls, but I'll likely only use a few. If you use one burner, it can go up to 1800 watts. If you use two burners simultaneously, the maximum each burner will use will be 900 watts, which still is quite a bit. This is due to the limitations of a standard home outlet which is only rated at 1800 watts. On my other induction devices, I usually pick a power level. This device uses temperature levels instead, but that does the same thing. You have six easy temperature level options but can use up and down arrows to select temperatures in between. This unit can do other things, like cooking in various stages. However, I don't need that for my simple needs. Additionally, the magnetic rings on this unit are larger than most cheaper burners at 8". You will see a smaller circle when you boil water, but that is because that circle is typically around 1/2 the diameter of the power ring (trivial fact). I'm the main cook for 4-5 adults, and I use up to two burners at a time. I could substitute this burner for my regular stove (sans the oven). Lastly it comes with a very nice quick start guide and a larger than usual recipe book. Very nice, indeed.

Broken after 3 months. Can't maintain temp.
UPDATE: After about 3 months of usage it is now wildly inaccurate. Just 1 of many examples: Setting to medium heat swings the heat from 150 - 550 degrees. Burning food constantly. With this unit having no visual confirmation if it's actually heating, I had to add a watt meter to it so I can visually see when it begins to fail. Sometimes after this wild temperature swings it refuses to heat the burner again until I reboot it. Probably going into protect mode. Doesn't matter the pan, pot or contents. Sometimes at max power trying to boil water it'll just cycle off and sit not doing anything for minutes. In the photos you can see the temp after burning a pancake in about 20 seconds. In the other you can see how it turns off and refuses to reheat not even cooking the next pancake. To get through breakfast I had to constantly click the med and med high buttons to toggle the burner on/off manually. Hopefully their support will be helpful. ORIGINAL: Pros + Heats fast + Pretty quiet fans. A lot quieter than the Duxtop it replaces + Pretty low profile so it sits on-top my old electric glass top without adding too much height + easy to keep clean with absolutely no knobs or grooves + just fits two decent sizes pans at the same time + handles heat much better than the Duxtop which over heated quickly + normal induction advantages, quick, doesn’t heat up the kitchen/house Cons - can’t tell if it’s on or off - shaking or moving pans easily changes the heat settings - quick temp settings are pretty pointless So the unit works great overall. Quick & powerful. It handles high heat well. It can’t quite do a flat bottom wok heat but it’s close enough where i still use my wok daily. It will get the wok pretty hot and just maintain that temp. My old Duxtop in comparison was loud and was always cutting out due to its low heat tolerance. Small pans empty pans and the wok would always trigger the protect switch and shut down. The annoyances aren’t major but pretty common and require extra supervision. There is a power switch to turn the whole unit on. But there are also switches for each burner. The fan turns on for each burner when on. But besides that there is no easy way to tell if it’s on. With an overhead kitchen fan on you can’t even hear the unit fans. Since the unit will cycle power to get to the desired heat temp it sometimes looks like it’s off. Combine that with how stupid easy it is for the buttons to get pressed by your hand, utensils, or the pans and I’m constantly having to lift pans on and off the unit to determine if it’s still on. I’ve had instances where the pan or utensils bumped the button and turned it off without me knowing. Also the way the number buttons work is ridiculous. If your burner is at 275 degrees and you bump any number button it puts that number at the end and removes the first number. So 275, accidentally slide the pan over the 3 and now your burner is at 753 degrees. Who thought this was a good idea?? This adds an extra level of stress and double checking that a simple knob would easily fix. Plus all the preset button are almost useless. You can replace over a dozen buttons on each burner with 1 knob.

You won’t go wrong buying it.
The best product I’ve bought on Amazon. It works as advertised.

Works well.
It works well, and I use it every day. I like the larger coils.

This unit stopped working partially within a couple weeks and then started burning things at 4 weeks
Worked well for a a couple of weeks and then it seemed like the temperature sensor started reading the pans as being warm. I thought I was doing something wrong in settings but o could stop it and restart it and finish what o was cooking. Now it appears the sensors have completely shut down and it simply goes on high and stays there. Trying to return or get warranty work done. Will see how that goes. Amazon disappears out of the options after the return period and trying to locate the right call Center to contact. Resolve this is not easy.
