Really good if you need to be gluten free
I was skeptical based on the reviews which varied greatly. My opinion is that the taste is bland at first. The more you chew the better the onion flavor. The texture is great, not too crispy and not too greasy. The pieces are nice size, not too small. The cost is a bit much but that is the case with gluten free items. Happy to have found this. The expiration date is 2027.

Good Taste
These were great for the recipe I needed them for. They arrived partially crushed and they are smaller than similar fried onions that are not gluten free. Tast was good and the package resealed well.

Lacking flavor, but liked that they don't contain gluten
I got these because the fried onions you get in the grocery store have gluten. I wanted to make a green bean casserole and I needed gluten free onions along with the gluten free cream of mushroom soup. I found the flavor a little lacking, but I’m only comparing them to Lipton onions that I used to be able to eat, until I could no longer have gluten. Also some of the fried onions were a little hard or sometimes chewy. They didn’t have as much of an onion flavor in the casserole.

Delicious … I use these in my gluten free holiday green bean casserole with gluten free cream of mushroom soup. I definitely recommend this product.

Disappointed in fried onions
I rated this product two stars because the fried onions are dust. I’m not sure if it’s because the product was delivered in an envelope or if the product is supposed to be crumbly. My daughter has celiac and has been trying to find good gluten free fried onions. She said they tasted pretty good. But not sure if we will use them another recipe.
