These are strong, wide, and small enough for easy storage when not in use. The ends are lined with rubber to reduce slip and improve grip. I use them frequently and haven't had any break or have reduced grip, even storing them clipped to a wire rack.

These clips are both very effective and inexpensive. They have a very strong spring, they are sufficiently rigidity to clamp reliably, and they have silicone jaw protectors that both prevent sharp edges coming in contact with whatever you’re clamping as well as protecting your hands. The silicone also has a nonslip quality that makes the clip stay on where you put it far better than any other ones I have bought. The other edges besides the jaws are slightly sharp, but not enough to hurt yourself on. All in all just about perfect.

I previously purchased some bag clips made of plastic. They were cheap and easily breakable. These stainless steel clip bags are MUCH stronger. They have a slightly smaller footprint (they are only about 3 inches wide, so for some bags I actually have to use 2 of them), but the springs are strong and they really hold the bags tightly closed. I also love the silicone pads on the clips as they prevent accidental rips. I'm glad I got these, and since there were 12 clips in the package, I probably won't have to buy any more any time soon! Great value for the money.

While the thickness of the material could be a teensy thicker, to improve against bending, the clips are a welcome improvement over crappy plastic ones. Tough to tell how long the silicone tips will last, but these have a nice tension without being too heavy

These are amazingly well-made and exactly as they describe them. I like that I chose the three sizes in one package, as that seems to be plenty for anything. These are very strong, so one couldn't slip off a bag of any type even if you willed it to. They're wisely engineered with the weight concentrated at the bottom. You won't have to deal with plastic ones that (1) are engineered with the weight at the top and annoyingly 'flop' over for that very reason; (2) don't have a strong enough grip and allow the possibility of slipping off, (3) break far too easily; and/or (4) have a spring that either pops out or misaligns the two sides of the clip. These seem like they'll last a lifetime, and I highly recommend them. They're a great value for the price, the three sizes each have their own color of rubber at the bottom to prevent damage to bags and getting cuts, so you'll soon be able to identify the size by the color, depending on how you store them. Even though they're stainless steel , they resemble brushed nickel. They come in a rezippable bag that is thick enough to store them in, if you so choose. I mentioned the bottom, but the rest of each clip has the metal rounded over so both of those things keep them heavy-duty and safe for tweens, teens and adults. I wouldn't just leave any within reach of toddlers and young ones for the sole reason that their grip is so strong and even though that makes the clips harder to open that you would think that's safe enough, wee ones can do some surprising things, so I wouldn't want them to be so curious that they put one on the floor to open it with the full weight of his or her body to open it and it suddenly snap back really quick and a toe or two are the prisoners, with the child unable to open it again on his or her own. That should give you a picture of just how strong they are. Sorry to be so dramatic, as I know that scenario would be rare, but rare doesn't equate to never. These are very easy to use, but they do require some strength and would not be recommended for anyone who has rheumatoid arthritis or osteoarthritis bad enough that your hands have lost grip and strength.

Arguably the best chip bag clip available. First, it's stainless steel, which doesn't crack or snap off like the inferior plastic clips. Second, the clip edge is coated with silicone, which grabs to plastic bags. Much stronger grip than a plastic clip attempting to hold onto a plastic bag. Third, the metal spring is much better than a plastic spring, especially for use in the freezer. I bought a dozen, and they're all in use. Should have bought two or three dozen, because I use these guys for all sorts of food bags, whether chips, cereal, nuts, or meat balls in the freezer. Being somewhat of a pessimist, I wonder how well the grippy silicone edges will stay put. So far there's no indication they will come loose. But even without the extra grip of the silicone, these clips will grip well. and the shape is much ore sensible than the pictures indicate. Don't even pause to think about these. Just order yourself a few dozen. Give 'em out to your friends to score social points.

I had previously purchased a different kind of closure that required fitting a plastic rod into a strip that sealed the bag. It was too difficult for everyone and I found that open bags were placed in the pantry. We use these now and very easy to use. It has resolved the open bag problem. The clip is very sturdy, made of metal with a soft silicone strip at the clip ends. The variety of sizes works for all our open containers. I believe that these clips will last far longer than plastic clips. I love the color, matte black.

These stainless steel clips work on everything. Strong, perfect size and do not rust. They are worth the price, much better then cheap plastic clips that break. Doubt I will have to purchase more clips for a very long time! Definitely recrecomend!!

They seem to work very well. Reasonably sized for most kitchen situations.

I have bought this product before and loved them so I was surprised to find only 3 in the bag. The bag was only big enough for three too not 12. I'm very disappointed. When I called Amazon they refunded my money but I am not able to re-buy them because they are currently unavailable. Maybe I got the last 3 they had? I can't seem to contact anyone from the company. I'd love to know what went wrong. Well I guess I love to hear if any bag clips are just as good.
