Our Bengal never paid any attention to catnip. So I did research and came across silvervine and got some shipped from Japan... and it worked! I had no idea how fast that stuff happened - I turned around and Bengal is on his back licking the wall and singing the song of his people. Luckily, he came down fast. We now have an Ocicat and I got him his first tin of silvervine. Butterballs and I opened the package and were delighted to see it comes from a small farm in England! We got our tin, but, additionally, we got a little bag of cat nip and a little mouse! Before I'd even found the mouse, Oci Boi started singing and jumping around. Seems just being close to the bag gave the mouse enough 'kick' to make Butters go in to wildman mode. So we (Butterballs and I) give this Four Paws Up!

Works well on kittens too

Catnip doesn’t work on many cats and definitely doesn’t work on kittens. Silvervine worked very well on my kitten: he bursts his event in hitting toys (and not my hands). And then good for sleeping after.

Meine Katze steht normal auf Silverwine . Da reagiert sie leider überhaupt nicht drauf. Da es wie mit vielen Dingen bei Katzen ist, kann es auch Tagesform abhängig sein. Die Dose konnten wir nicht aufmachen. Drehen, ziehen.. nichts ging. Alles versucht, bis wir die dann aufstachen . …
