Deodorant Antiperspirant for Women and Men, Stop Excessive Sweating and Stay Dry with Protection from Sweat and Odour, Fresh Powder Scent

I’ve unfortunately dealt with hyperhidrosis my whole life and initially I thought this product was going to finally tackle that issue. It started working for me within a few days (they say it can take up to a month) and I was thrilled. However, I noticed that it only seems to work when your sweating is caused by environmental factors like hot, humid weather or working out. If your sweating is caused by anxiety, stress or nervousness, Carpe doesn’t seem to work most of the time. This is super strange as it seems that sweating is sweating regardless of catalyst but I’m just basing this off of personal experience. For the price, the amount you get is pretty tiny (pictured next to 16 oz water bottle for scale). Seems like if you’re going to charge 4x more than other anti-perspirant brands, you could include a little more product. I’m pretty bummed as I thought this would finally solve my hyperhidrosis issue, but sadly not.If you’re ordering for the first time, order the Fresh Powder scent (smells like linen). Mountain Breeze and Sandalwood are incredibly overwhelming, Sandalwood actually made me physically ill from how strong the scent is. Each stick has lasted me just under a month.*EDIT (2 months after previous review)It still doesn't work 100% of the time, but I've noticed that it does work better when your pits are absolutely BONE dry before application. I'm talking no moisture of any kind, use a paper towel to remove any moisture or oil before applying. Also, if you're a guy, you may want to trim your pits just a bit. I noticed that it worked a bit better after I did some trimming, so ladies this product may be more effective for you. If you apply a copious amount of it, it does work pretty well maybe 85%-90% of the time and for that reason I changed my 3 star review to a 4 star. I just wish they gave you more of it for the price. It still appears to be more effective against temperature-related perspiration and less effective against nervousness-related perspiration, but if you need something to at least put a dent in your sweating and use enough of it, following the steps I listed, it will have an impact. It's better than the large majority of products on the market in its category so I guess it's not too bad.

The product is great and does a fantastic job keeping me from getting super sweaty throughout the day. However, for as expensive as it is, the dispenser leaves a lot to be desired. I think I’ve had less than a handful of working dispensers, every other one I’ve received has broken apart or not functioned appropriately and it makes the product incredibly difficult to use.When I try using the dial to push more product up into the holes, it starts untwisting from the bottom of the dispenser. When I push it back up into the dispenser, the product does start to come out of the holes, but the entire top completely pushes off like this last dispenser I got. This one pictured was brand new out of the packaging. I decided it was easier to scrape the product out of the dispenser and apply it with a makeup pad. These are so consistently bad that I’ve switched from Carpe entirely, which is a shame because I love the product and it works great, but I’m not even getting close to my money’s worth between the awful dispenser and wasted product as a result.

Carpe Antipersipant is an amazing product that does the job! Unfortunately it’s very popular and sometimes takes a longtime to get it!

After looking and trying different deodorants for an entire due to my deodorant (Mitchum Clinical) getting discontinued, I finally found something that works. This would have probably be my last try before going to Botox (which I know is extremely painful). I have tried everything such as Certain Dri, Degree clinical, Duradry, Secret clinical, and Dove clinical and none of those worked. I was skeptical to try it but after reading the reviews, I took a chance and I am so glad that I did. This deodorant takes a while to get used to due to the fact that it is more of a cream when applying it. I purchased the Fresh Powder scent and enjoy it, it is strong but only while it is still wet. Definitely follow the instructions and apply it at night, and not in the morning. It is not needed, but I did not see that it made the product work any less. However, do not miss to put it at night. I also purchased the exfoliating soap from them as well to ensure that the product penetrates properly. So far so good and very happy with the results. I have not been sweating at all and no bad odors are coming through. We can say that this product has saved me from getting depressed about my sweatiness, like I was before I found Mitchum Clinical. I highly recommend this product.Edit: It did work great for the first 2 months and then completely stopped. Unfortunately, I will not be buying this product again. Back to the drawing board. Reducing my 5 stars to a 4.
