Highly engineered and nice fit and finish. Love the sheen on this bronze paint. Apart from looking good, the size and function is perfect. The beans I use are susceptible to drying out quickly. This canister works really well in keeping my coffee beans fresh throughout the several days it takes to use them up. Coffee extraction on the last day is the same as day 1. Very pleased.

Finding myself writing a review for a food storage container seemed ridiculous, but this genuinely is a fantastic product. The functionality is very good, the design is top and most importantly, my coffee beans stay as fresh as possible for longer. The satisfying sound when you close the inner lid and you then get a waft of coffee beans as the air is pushed out from the container is magic :)

Prior to this I had been using zwilling vacuum seal containers but these have failed me due to air leaks and failure to keep it vacuumed sealed. This air scape has NO electronics. It's 100% reliable to keep the beans air tight. You put the beans in, use the plunger to push our the air and then lock it shut. A secondary top lid also has a rubberized o-ring to also cap the bin . See video. I really love the size . While it can't hold a typical bag of beans , I prefer this size; I like to store half the beans in this air scape (for daily use) and the other half in a more aggressively vacuum sealed bags for optimal storage -- that way only half bag gets exposed everyday while the rest is sealed up and preserved a bit better for near future usage. The container comes in lost of colours. Love the bronze. But I also have white and dark blue. Helps me to distinguish which bean is which. The bottom of the canister is rubberized grippy material. Feels soft on countertop and doesn't slide around. Nice touch. I also love the fact that this is an opaque stainless steel food grade can. NOT glass or plastic. Keeps the beans fresh and safe from sunlight which overall enhances preservation. I have dabbled in vacuum sealed canisters such as zwilling and fellow. But in my opinion, it's just over-engineered and yet another over priced coffee gear. I go through enough coffee that I don't need such over-engineered excess. That's why i prefer airscape.... Low tech and quick Overall very very pleased.
