Does frustration free packaging means it ships with no protection to the retail packaging?

I believe it means just an outer branded brown box from the manufacturer that is over the original packaging of the product. So yes, there is less protection but being that it is a snug fit, there is less shaking. It is only an issue if your box gets crushed.

Will the jaw stay open if forced, or does it only open when the button is pressed?
