Our senior kitty has CKD, and finding a food he will actually eat consistently has honestly been one of the biggest challenges. We decided to try Weruva B.F.F. OMG Chicken Cloud 9, and it has been such a positive change for him. The extra gravy is exactly what we needed to help encourage hydration, and he absolutely goes crazy for it the second I open the pouch. Before this food, he had been losing weight and becoming very picky with meals. Since starting Chicken Cloud 9, his appetite has improved so much, he’s more excited at mealtime again, and he has actually gained some healthy weight back. That alone has been such a relief for us. I also appreciate the quality of the ingredients and the soft texture, which is easier for him to eat. The gravy is a huge win in this house — I joke that my cat would probably write Weruva a thank-you letter himself if he had thumbs. If you have a picky senior cat or a kitty with CKD who struggles with appetite and maintaining weight, this food may really be worth trying. It has made a noticeable difference for our boy, and we will definitely keep buying it.

The cats only lick the liquid part. The meat is very hard and grainy like sand, they wouldnt eat that

All my cats are obsessed with this food. Gravy is their absolutely favorite. But what is also very important, it is healthy! I only buy healthy food for my cats. Please do too. Read the ingredients! Don't feed your cats with garbage.

I love Weruva, I have only had my cat for a month so we are discovering what she will eat. She is growing to like it so I am hoping she will love it soon!

I know quite a few people say their cat dislikes this food, but if you have a picky eater I think you should give this a try! My cat is an extremely picky eater (she won’t eat anything except science diet or this, and sometimes turns down science diet). I think she likes it because it is more “soupy” in quality; it has less large chunks and is mostly little shredded bits. I give her this food in teaspoons throughout the day (hyperthyroid kitty) and she eats it every time. Sometimes she gets tired of wet food, but she’s been eating this for months and still loves it! Knock on wood. This flavor is the only one she likes (generally everything needs to be chicken flavored, even her treats). My only complaint is that I wish it came in bulk, since she eats a big can every 1-2 days.
