I have bought several brands of these before, this is by far the best. I have a T6 Campervan that I rarely use and inevitably the battery is low when I want to use it. It's an auto so no chance of a bump start. This gives it the boost it needs even on the coldest days. The other day I forgot to unplug the dash cam from the cigarette lighter, it's live all the time not just with the ignition. The battery was that flat the central locking wouldn't work. Anyway connected this up and she started immediately, no struggle really flew over. I now keep this in the glove box plugged into a usb that is live only when the ignition is on, so not only is it always charged but I also know where it is! It's surprisingly powerful for such a small, light compact unit. Also works as a power bank for phones etc, tried it at the beach to power an air compressor, blew several things up no problem. Well designed and really handy thing to have, you will wonder why you didn't get one before

Really good, does the job perfectly

I was sceptical about these small car battery jump starters I was completely wrong absolutely amazing so after going on a fishing trip falling to sleep in my car with the ignition on waking to a dead battery them having to wait hrs to get a jump start from recovery I decided to buy this to test it I sat in the car with everything switched on totally drained the battery so the starter motor wouldn’t even turn once plugged the jumper on turned the key it started in a split second no cranking what’s so ever the charge dropped from 100% -95% first go went for a second go charge dropped to 92% I can say I was very impressed i work on cars so that’s why I had my doubts because the jumper is very lite but technology these days are quite advanced I’m assuming is has a beefed up capacity in it to convert to power needed I have no doubts the will have no problems starting vans and small lorries no problem come in a handy hard case so if your after one I would recommend this one with out a doubt ca

Good device and it really works. Easy to use just follow manual - connect to terminalals then wait for beep and green light and then within 30sec star car. Jump starter battery was still 100% after 2 starts. I hope it will last for some time.

Rubbish product. Worked once. Then I Fully charged 100% battery showing and the device has no power. Charged again 100% showing, still no power. Doesn’t charge up. Terrible product

Very impressed. I bought this booster after reading several reviews and I must say that it has lived up to the hype. I run a boatyard and often times either boats or heavy machinery have dead batteries. This device is deceptive because it is light weight but it packs quite a punch! It started up our 70 ton Travelift that has a John deer 404 diesel engine while it was at 40%. Definitely worth buying. Note: if you run it down it does require a long recharge time

My husband takes this with him everywhere he goes. He has been able to helped several people with it. Works really fast.

This is my fourth jump pack, and like so much technology, it is better and cheaper than earlier generations. My first was a bulky lead-cell pack from years ago, followed by a pricier lithium model costing over $200 a decade back. My most recent purchase, a reliable $80 pack from Amazon a few years ago, has served me well and is still available. This new model raises the question: has technology advanced so much that I can get comparable performance for half the price? Out of the box, this jump pack arrived 99% charged, ready to go. It includes a USB cable for charging the pack itself and two USB ports for powering other devices. The zippered case keeps everything organized. Unlike my older packs, this one has a digital display showing the remaining power. The jumper cables plug into the top of the unit (an improvement over my previous side-connected model). My last pack required a press of a "boost" button that could be hard to see in the dark. This one auto-boosts with an audible relay click. A built-in safety feature prevents reverse polarity mishaps. The cable connector blinks red-green when connected to the pack, turns solid green when correctly connected to the battery, or solid red if incorrectly connected to the battery. I tested it on a 4.4L V8 with an older battery that hadn’t been driven in months and would barely turn over. Hooked up to this pack, the engine started like it was on a new battery. Living in a cold climate with college kids who often leave their cars sitting over winter, I’m sold on getting one of these for each of their vehicles. This jump pack is user-friendly, powerful, and an incredible value.

First let me say that this is my 5th jump starter from other assorted brands. My kids each got one for their cars when they were going to college and I used a small cheap one to jump start a lawn tractor at each use. All could jump start a 6 cylinder car including the smallest (probably about 34 Wh). This manufacturer, Sharmeal, did not post battery capacity on the advertisement, but law requires it to be marked on the product. See picture of the label. (nearly all the manufacturers post deliberately misleading specs. The Lithium chemistry batteries used in all of these units have an output voltage of about 3.2 to 3.7V, so to reach >12V to jump a 12V battery, groups of 4 or 5 internal batteries are wired in series to boost the voltage. Often Jump starter manufacturers total the current capacity in mAh of the internal batteries to generate a big number like 16000 mAh or 20000 mAh. It means something, but is mostly intended to confuse.) The only meaningful electrical spec for battery capacity (for this type of product assuming standard battery types) is Wh (Watt output for an hour). This unit is rated for 14.8V X 2.5Ah = 37 Wh (similar to my smallest). The last 2 units I purchased were 66 Wh and 74 Wh respectively. Therefore battery capacity per the label is on the smaller side for these jump starters. This translates to less cranking time. The smallest of my prior jump start units, jump started my Toyota Sienna mini-van. My son's 66 Wh unit jumped his 4 cylinder Subaru in the cold of Ithaca NY a lot! My very smallest, cheapest unit was about 10% lower capacity than this Sharmeal unit, and happens to be about the same capacity as a very expensive unit sold at "that membership club store". I am confident that this Sharmeal unit is adequate for most people's needs. That said, the price difference between a 37 Wh unit and one of nearly twice the capacity is only a few dollars, if you shop Amazon for bargains. My inclination would be to buy the biggest battery for the price, as you will need to be very lucky to have your unit freshly charged when you need it. Capacity may also diminish over time. This unit does have a better flashlight function than most, nice and bright. It seems to be a fine unit, just not with an overly generous battery. I have not had a dead battery where i can try it, but it seems pretty standard, and I would expect it to work fine. I would only buy it however if it were a very good price due to the lower Wh (Watt Hours) capacity. These jump starters are mostly all around the same physical size, so personally, I just look for the highest battery capacity. If you plan to use it to charge your phone, etc, your needs may be different.
