This is a little" Minced" it's not just powdered. Everyone in the comments said it's minced, I did put this up to some of the powdered that I have here and it is minced just not as minced as I had hoped.

Does not dissolve easily and collects at the bottom of the glass that then has to be eaten

# My Review This review is for the Pride Of India - Organic Turmeric Minced Whole product. As someone who’s an avid food fan that adds exotic flavors to everything, this recommendation was a pleasant find. I like experimenting with different herbs, spices, condiments, natural and organic food products, so I was curious by the flavor profiles I could get by using this brand’s minced turmeric product compared to the powdered form I get from the international spice aisle at the grocery store. That said, when I saw this offering and the way in which it was packaged, produced, and delivered, I just knew it was worth a try. First of all, this turmeric is packaged in a small sized clear see-through container with a large twistable lid. The lid has 2 flip top sides with open holes that allows you to pour by either shaking, or sprinkling over the food you’re preparing. The clear see-through container gives you an opportunity to see the contents up-close – it’s nice to see the minced flakes of turmeric! The container isn’t vacuum sealed; however, upon opening there was a nice vibrant, warm, earthy, savory, authentic, and spicy aroma that packed a subtle punch! A good sign of high-quality ingredients and freshness. I was a surprised at the size of the container delivered as the pictures are deceiving and look bigger. I often use turmeric in cooking and mixing in hot drinks as a medicinal supplement. There are many health benefits associated with turmeric; like, protecting the body’s cells from oxidative stress, as an anti-inflammatory and antioxidant that can help improve symptoms of arthritis and improve joint health. As a cooking spice, I’ve used this in a number of different ways which always delivers a nice warm, earthy and aromatic flavor profile! I regularly use these minced turmeric flakes in Chinese, Thai, Indian, and Mexican dishes, and each time the level of turmeric taste was noticeable. It must be noted that this is the first time I’m using turmeric in minced form as I’m normally used to the powdered type. I wasn’t sure how much to use, so I had to experiment a few times to get the right balance; that said, it did blend in quite easily. Bottom line, this is a good quality organic minced turmeric flake that comes in a handy and reusable container. It is minced and this makes it easy to use.

I love it in my rice

Too small. Intended to throw these in with peppercorns in my pepper mill but they were so small they settled below the peppercorns rather than mix amongst them.

Mixed with coriandre seeds ! Watch out !

I only used 2 / 3 times and added in milk and I tasted like sand and impurities while consuming
