This item is a gift for a child aged ten. The book was in excellent condition and beautifully illustrated so much so that I am tempted to keep it for myself. It took a while to arrive but I was in no hurry as the birthday is in july Wonderful!

My 8 year old grandson is an excellent reader and easily reads this book. He is very, very interested in how all things work and this book is FULL of interesting things. A nice big, hard cover book with lots of full color pages and interesting info with reasonably current info. I am pleased with this purchase and so is my grandson.

It met my expectations.

Really neat info in an easily digestible format for kids. I enjoyed reading it alongside our 7 year old!
