package appeared to be retapped ?.Scuff marks on base of owl .Appears it may of been used before...tape over light pealed back..Iteam appears dirty .will see how well it lights up .Not happy so far!

I absolutely love this adorable owl solar light. I'm an owl fan, so when I saw this, I had to have it. It's very well made and heavy enough that it won't blow over on windy days. The light lasts all the way until the morning light shuts it off. There are 5 little lights in it, so the lights are like the 5 on dice. Even though it's great quality, I felt the price was just slightly high so that's why I deducted 1 star. The picture was taken in the morning after it was lit all night.

We really like owls in our house, and I like adding outdoor light from solar sources so that I don't have to run wires. This is a cute little owl. The light isn't very much but is fun. I chose a location next to a chimney for an outdoor stove. Unfortunately, we had a strong windstorm within a couple of weeks after I placed it there and it was blown down. Most of it survived and it still works, but the poor owl did lose part of his left ear. It is in too many pieces to glue back together - even if I could find them all. The light still works but my owl just looks injured.
