This is a great little addition to my son’s n-scale electric train setups. Granted, it does not come ready to use. We did need to purchase a battery box for each RR Crossing we ordered in order to get the lights working (I ordered 3 but only needed 2; the extra was a replacement after my son accidentally dropped & broke one. It was 100% buyer’s fault and no fault of seller or product reliability). I’m not too familiar with electric train setups, so I cannot say whether this item can be directly hooked up to the power supply for the train set itself (my 11 year old mildly-autistic son is in charge of his electric train sets, & has proven to be way more advanced than me, & probably most others😏). I just know my son LOVES these crossings. He worked hard hooking up the wires himself, getting the battery boxes attached & working, and gluing these to an old RR-Crossing platform from a broken RR-Crossing setup (completely different item than this). With that being said, I highly recommend to anyone looking for n-scale RR Crossings with an understanding of electric train setups, or anyone unafraid to use YouTube how-to videos. The price point is very fair, but be prepared for additional costs for battery boxes should you choose to use them (I chose double A with 4 batteries each because a double pack was cheap; however, if I could do it over again, I’d pay more for battery boxes that take smaller batteries and less of them, like triple A that only requires 2 batteries. Cheaper in the long run). I’d also like to add this Seller was a pleasure to work with. One item was received a day early and the other 2 came on time. They were wrapped thoroughly and packed very well so no damage could occur through the USPS. Anyone with n-scale trains & parts knows how important packaging is for these items, since they’re so tiny and easily broken if not careful.

Quality product at correct N scale and very reasonable price.

I used these with an Arduino to sense the train and alternate the flashers. They work fine, but I didn't use the included flasher board. I wish the signage was black lettering on white background, instead of the opposite and that is the reason I didn't give it 5 stars.

Two of my 4 rr xing lights do not work, cannot get ahold of this company probably because they are from China. I would not recommend this product to anybody. I wish Amazon would state company is from China because I definitely would never have supported them at all.

Easy wiring, tested signal first, works great. But used the flasher unit to replace old home made signal flasher. So I have an extra signal. Am buying another one for another grade crossing. Saw some negative reviews , but I'm totally pleased so far.

Love these like crossing warning flashers, Very realistic and almost perfectly scaled .. super fast shipping from Amazon and a real bargain!

Great addition for my expansion. Used a 9 volt battery, no problem. Used one control Module for 2 crossing, no problem. Polarity is important regarding the power supply. Remember this in N scale, so it’s small. Also installed a push button for operating. Have fun.

Assembly too large to fit in with non-operating models.
