I use it for work and love the high pixel density, colors are vibrant, everything looks crystal clear, no flickering or ghosting, frame is narrow so fits well into multi monitor setup. Be careful because there is no turn back to FHD once you experience QHD. I'm just waiting for a discount so i can replace my 3rd monitor. It does work well for gaming too, although i bought the more expensive Q25G4SR (300hz) for that purpose and to be honest I like the colors better on Q24G4RE.

Pros: - Colours are good, especially the HDR colours. - Physical setup is simple and easy. - Stand is designed with cable management in mind and is made of solid material that wil last. - Smaller form factor + 1440p resolution leads to a high PPI that looks amazing while saving space. - High response times, resolution and refresh rates so videos are crisp and smooth. - Bright enough for a sunny room. - IPS glow isn't too noticeable Cons: - Noticeable backlight bleed at SEVERAL points along the edge of the monitor at all brightness levels (separate from IPS glow, which changes depending on viewing angle). Apparently, this depends entirely on the unit you receive, it appears I didn't luck out. - Colours considerably darkened ~2 inches away from the edges of the screen (quite noticeable on such a small screen). - Backlight Bleed + IPS Glow + Colour Darkening detract from the HDR experience when looking near the edges (so, again, a lot more noticeable on a smaller screen) - G Menu (AOC's control software) would break the monitor's settings (not save changes and make settings unavailable regardless of SDR/HDR mode) despite working fine for a different AOC monitor - The provided stand does not allow for wide adjustment options, those being only a slight tilt up and down and doing so requires a firm grip. Overall, this was a good value, simple monitor with good HDR capabilities and space efficiency but the picture quality (the entire point of a monitor) was sacrificed at points to keep costs low. If you are buying your first monitor and are on a strict budget, this monitor is great: high resolution, HDR10, high refresh rate, small form factor, cables provided. You may even find that the drawbacks don't affect your experience that much! If, like me, you were looking to upgrade, it's still decent but I'd only go for this if there are no other alternatives. With this monitor, low-budget is what you pay for and low-budget is what you're going to get. I ended up returning mine and buying a different monitor that would last me for a couple of years at the least because I wanted a significant upgrade that would last for a few years rather than a middling one (only slightly better specs than my current and more drawbacks) that I knew I'd end up hating by the end of the year.

Coming from a Samsung g9 49 inch to these for work has been more comfortable than I thought. Negatives: the stand is no good. The cables provided are no good. Hdmi doesn't support 180hz. Positives: Image is sharp. Colours are sharp. Resolution and refresh are superb. Overall: I haven't used my g9 enough since I moved to these for work. Really pleasantly surprised. Got 2 and a 3rd on the way. (With a monitor arm!)

A great monitor. I've had it now for 6 months and haven't had a single issue.

The negative- First monitor wasn't delivered so this is a replacement. On opening the box I wasn't pleased. The Description listing to the monitor was incorrect to the one I received. The monitor was black and not black and red the monitor only has 1 hdmi and not 2 like it says. No adjustment for monitor hight and stand too big. Positive- easy setup great picture and easy controls to adjust the monitor settings. Would be an easy 4 or 5 rating if had 2 hdmi ports.

Quality product. Ease of assembly and settling up made it simple. Great quality product. If you are on a budget you could not buy better.

Bluffé. Je pensais tomber sur un écran qui au bout d'une heure allait me causer des problèmes car oh des pixels morts sont apparus, et oh à priori il ne fonctionne que sur une résolution spécifique, j'veux dire, il a coûté qu'une centaines d'euros, et certes c'était en promotion, mais son prix d'origine n'est pas moins impressionnant, 170€, du Quad HD, en 24 pouces, déjà qu'avoir l'un sans dépasser les 200€ c'est plutôt rare, maintenant le fait qu'il soit également 24 pouces fait de cet écran une perle, c'est exactement ce qu'il me fallait, l'écran est étonnamment plus réactif que mon écran principal (pourtant déjà pas mal dans son genre), je m'attendais également à voir une grosse différence de couleurs entre mes écrans actuels et celui-ci (vraiment pas dans l'bon sens, je n'peux que m'attendre à ça vu la différence de prix), pourtant c'est très correct, en fait jusque-là je sais pas quoi lui trouver de mal... Alors oui cependant: le produit mentionne l'écran "Q24G2A", ayant un temps de réponse d'1 ms, mais il s'agit du Q24G4RE, ayant un temps de réponse de 0.5ms, il ne s'agit que de détails, mais disposer d'la bonne référence peut aider, pour par exemple savoir comment monter correctement l'écran sur un support écran (car oui j'étais effrayé à l'idée de casser l'écran à peine reçu car je n'savais pas comment retirer le cache révélant les trous pour installer l'écran sur un support écran, et d'après un guide d'utilisation trouvé sur internet une fois qu'j'avais la bonne référence il s'agissait juste de déclipser le cache en insérant un tournevis plat ou quoi qu'ce soit d'autre de plat dans la fente et faire levier, rien d'bien compliqué oui, mais sans savoir on peut facilement s'retrouver à faire n'importe quoi et ça peut très vite mal tourner) Bref, pour son prix qui est absolument ridicule au vu des fonctionnalités qu'il propose et d'sa qualité, il est tout simplement excellent, bien joué AOC. Reste à voir sur le temps.

The monitor is good, it is a nice upgrade from a regular 60Hz office monitor. The difference in between 60Hz and 144Hz+ is quite noticeable. HDMI and DP 1.4 cables (both 1.5m) are included. The HDMI cable allows 144Hz refresh rate, the DP one 180Hz. The monitor does not have a height-adjustable stand I decided to mention that explicitly as one of the comments below (by Adryele) mentions that the included cable does not allow higher rates than 60Hz. I followed it to proactively buy an additional DP 2.1 cable just to be covered when the monitor arrives only to figure out that was wrong. Just to note: when connected via DP, Windows 11 automatically recognized things and set the 180Hz refresh rate. When connected via HDMI Windows detected 60Hz by default but that can be easily changed in the Display Settings => Advanced Display => Choose a refresh rate => set to 144Hz I am attaching a photo that include cables specs that are within the box.

Amazing monitor for the money. The picture quality is crisp, motion is incredibly smooth thanks to the 180Hz refresh rate, and the response time feels excellent in competitive games like CS2. Colors are good out of the box, and I didn’t notice any dead pixels or backlight issues. Definitely one of the best value 1440p gaming monitors. Would buy it again.
