Their web site says it is 0.057% sodium hypochlorite, in an isotonic saline solution. Sodium hypochlorite is the same ingredient found in bleach but it's much more diluted here. An isotonic saline solution has just enough salt added to match the body's natural salinity. So it won't leech water out like salt on snail does; nor will it tend to be absorbed like water in a bath. It just stays on the skin.

How does this compare to Puracyn?

At different times, I use both Anasept and Puracyn with good results. Anasept costs less; Puracyn stings less. I prefer to apply repeatedly and let the wound air dry.

What is the expiration date?

Every product has its own expiration date I just bought some recently and it doesn’t expire until late 2021 I think I even have a couple that goes into 2022
