I really like these barrettes. I have fine hair and usually pull the sides back into a ponytail in the back and secure it with a rubberband covered with one of these barrettes. They are just the right size, not too big, nor too small. They are easy to close and just as easy to open, but yet are secure. I have never had one come loose or fall off. I like the multi-colors. I would recommend them or give them as a gift to a friend.

My hair is really thick, so it's difficult to use it for what I bought these for, but they are pretty and well made if your hair is thinner

As others stated, they are smaller than expected, especially when one of their pictures show it holding very thick hair. My hair has thinned out over the years so I can wear smaller barrettes. But when it is humid out like today, the barettes pop off. I was really sad because I really love the green one! I went to order larger ones and saw that you can take out the spring bar. I took it out of mine and voila, it fits and works! If you have super fine hair these are great, and without the spring bar they work on thicker hair!

I liked the first set I bought and purchased a second set of the same pattern. Now I can have matching barrettes for right and left sides of face which holds my fine hair from blowing across my face. Clip fastens with a snap clip and to remove just squeeze the tip together and the clip opens. Works very nicely. Recommend. Well made.

These are really pretty barrettes and the color patterns are very close to what is pictured. I have fairly fine hair and they do hold if I pull enough hair into the barrette. I wish they had that sort of rubber coating on the clip parts to keep fine/thin hair from slipping out. They don't say they have it so they match the description quite well. I may try to wrap a small rubber band around the clip part and see if that adds some grip to the clasp.

My hair is super thick and these are the only clips that can actually hold it all! LOVE Them and have ordered multiple times.

Love them, I recently lost a similar barrette which I used a lot, so it was nice to find these ones. I have very fine hair and would highly recommend them, especially to anyone with fine hair, as they have excellent hold and don’t slide out over the course of the day. I use them to clip back all of my hair like a ponytail. They also work well if I only pull back half my hair. I have also used them to clip up my hair with a twist.
