Pimpernel Sugar Magnolia Collection Placemat Set – (15.7" x 11.7") Cork-Backed Table Mats with Lacquer Finish, Heat & Stain Resistant, Decorative Dining Mats & Surface Protectors for Kitchen & Home

My wife inherited from her grandmother in Ireland two smaller sets of the Pimpernet Placemats. However, we needed a matching set to bring the newly painted kitchen, table and chairs. These placemats are very robust and elegant at the same time. True classics and we are all fortunate to have such European elegance at affordable prices.

Very pretty. Soft colors. Super easy to clean. Stays looking like new. Love it

Pimpernel never disappoints. These are beautiful poppy placemats for a reasonable price. The mats are thick and will be enjoyed for a long time.

These are beautiful and well made. I am happy to find them. Sorry that I had to find them here rather than in a store in my neighborhood but that's life these days. Pimpernel makes great products and I am glad they are still in business. We bought some of these 45 years ago and they were finally chipped and worn out. Super happy to find these now.

I’ve used these placemats fo about six months now for everyday, every meal placemats. They look as good as they did when I first got them. All you have to do is wipe them off with a damp dish cloth. Best of all you can set pretty hot plates and dishes on them and your table is protected. Love them. I plan on buying more just so I can change up my table. Love them.

These are beautiful placements but as with all Pimpernel placemats the stain resistant surface gets pitted and comes off in spots after about a year of wear. The vibrant flower color looks great in the summer.

Beautiful placemats. The colors and design are exactly as appeared on the web. The four placemats are identical and have no flaws. Well made with a sturdy layer of lamination. Waterproof and heat resistant on laminate surface. Very easy to clean.

Our old hardboard placemats had lost their lacquer finish, and even the print had faded, so I needed to replace them. Our local stores didn't have hardboard placemats, so I was so glad these were sold at Amazon. They are a nice size and thickness. They also have a cork backing. So far, these are holding up to daily use. I have found that anything spilled on them wipes right off with a damp sponge. There are so many hardboard placemats made by Pimpernel that it is hard to choose among all the pretty designs. They are a wonderful value for the money, and I am so glad to have them at our table.

Gorgeous, livevthen

The quality is good and the design is nice. If only the 4 pieces come with slightly different designs, that would have been great.

My wife thought they were very pretty and represented Springtime. These placemats are very sturdy and clean up is a breeze. She has purchased other hard backed mats before but they have not lasted. My wife recommends Pimpernel.
