CHITA Genuine Leather Reclining Swivel Chair with Adjustable Headrest and Ottoman for Living Room, Black

I was intrigued by this recliner and initially hesitated to purchase it. It didn't look like every other recliner out there, but we needed a minimal size and we loved the mid-century modern styling. Similar looking chairs from that time period are thousands of dollars, and they don't have the same recliner function. We took a chance, and ordered it. It came in two boxes, but came with clear instructions for assembly. I put it together after unpacking in just a couple of minutes with the included Allen wrench. I easily carried this up from our garage out of the box without straining, and I am only a couple of years away from 70. It is substantial but not overly heavy. It is a firm sit, but incredibly comfortable. We ordered the black leather and it feels like quality leather, not thin. It is a true black color and matches the accents around our living room. The headrest adjusts up and down and tilts. I am 6'1" and weigh 240 pounds and had no difficulty relaxing. It lays back quite far, farther than I expected, but it is smooth and noiseless. It will twist when you get out and then rotate back to its original position. My wife is 5'4" and weighs about 125 pounds and loves it as well. It is stylish and comfortable, and incredibly well-crafted. Classy. I should not have hesitated ordering this.

What a great chair!! Super solidly built with great real leather (not a fan of PU fake). Wickedly comfortable with supportive cushioning, not that super soft garbage that contributes to back problems. Feels very ergonomic with excellent back support. Excellent simple mechanical (hate power, never understood the need) mechanism for recline. I have a Stressless Ekornes as well and this one comes very very close in quality for 1/2 the price. I say go for it!

I read lots of reviews and decided to buy one for myself and one for my husband. I have cervical stenosis, cervical arthritis and Degenerative Disc Disease so I needed a chair that was supportive in all the right places and this chair hits the mark for me. It is a firm chair but is exactly what helps alleviate a lot of my pain. I especially like that it has adjustments for the headrest, I find it to be one of the most important features for my comfort. It also has great lumbar support and hugs your body well I’m all the right places. The ottoman makes it possible to recline all the way with feet up and you can watch tv comfortably or rest. It also is very well made. It’s a very sturdy chair and the leather is very soft and high end looking. I had no issues with assembly, was extremely easy. I just turned it over the edge of my couch to hold the weight and was able to install the bottom legs. I felt the price was very fair considering I got two chairs for what I might have paid for one of similar style. I’d recommend it and I definitely don’t have any regrets with my purchase.

I waited a little while before writing this review because our house was still under construction when the chair arrived, and I wanted to set it up properly before sharing my thoughts. Assembly was simple and didn’t take long. The fabric looks very nice and feels durable, and the chair itself is very comfortable for relaxing. The ottoman makes it even more enjoyable to sit in. I had previously ordered two recliners from the same company, and this chair matches them very well. Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase.

This is a pretty heavy-duty leather and wood chair that is a nice design and, so far, seems well built. Pretty comfortable to sit in for long periods of time. My second shipping box (with the top parts of the chair and ottoman) arrived badly beaten up with very slightly dented leather. Customer service was quick and remedied my situation. A couple of things that I really wish were different about this chair and ottoman: 1. Both the chair and ottoman rotate, but have fixed resting positions. If you swing either, they will swing back to this resting position. I like this feature except that they are both heavy (a good thing from a build perspective) and getting the two to line up is a bit of work. You can't line them up by rotating the upper parts, only by getting on the floor and rotating the bases. It's a bit of a challenge (especially on carpet) and I don't know what a good solution for this might be. 2. The headrest is adjustable in two directions: front-to-back and up-down. Good thing right? It could have been. The front-to-back works fine when you understand how it works. The up-down is designed a little bit like a car headrest without, however, the option to lock it in place. And it really doesn't have enough snap to hold itself in place. If it's raised and you put any kind of pressure on it it will push down and usually at a random angle. Pretty irritating. All-in-all it's a good chair for a decent price. Not sure that I'd purchase it again though given my time with it so far.
