Yes. Battery is included. Just push in the button and turn on propane

Is this weatherproof?

Ours sits outside on an open deck. It has been rained on and still works.. still looks nice. It comes with a great cover. We were just caught off guard and didn’t get it covered a couple times

Where is the location of the propane tank when in use?

The propane hook up hose is long enough to allow the tank to sit under a propane tank cover next to our patio chair
